Every Festive Disneyland Attraction You CAN’T Miss for Fall 2022
In our humble opinion, fall is the most beautiful time of year, and if you love celebrating all things autumn, from the seasonal changes to Halloween and Día de los Muertos, you can't miss all of the amazingness that Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California has going on this year.
From festive changes to rides to a brand new light show, seasonal autumn activities, tasty treats, celebratory merch and so much more, there's something for every Disney fan to dig into at the parks this year, and we have the details below!
Halloween Time (Sep. 2 to Oct. 31)
The Halloween Time festivities have already kicked off at Disneyland Park, as well as Disney California Adventure Park and even the Downtown Disney District, and the party will keep going all the way until the actual night of Halloween! That means all kinds of spooky haunts, seasonal treats, pumpkins galore and all the adorable merch you can dream of—and that's only the start of it.

The Main Street Pumpkin Festival
Main Street, U.S.A., looks a little bit different this time of year as it's all decked out in delightful pumpkins, vibrant fall colors and more during the Main Street Pumpkin Festival. Of course, Disneyland's iconic giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin has made a return this year, making for some truly adorable photo opps.

Buena Vista Street at California Adventure
Disney California Adventure Park's Buena Vista Street is named after the real-life street in Burbank where Walt Disney Studios resides, bringing all of the Hollywood glitz and glamor with it, and it's all decked out for the spooky season. For one, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy will be dressed up in retro Halloween costumes to pose for photos with fans.

And if you like things a little spookier, wait until nightfall for a dazzling light projection show on the facade of Carthay Circle Restaurant, and snap some pics of the terrifying 10-foot-tall Headless Horseman statue, holding his own well-carved jack-o'-lantern head.

Haunted Mansion Holiday
If you're holiday-obsessed, then you'll love the double whammy of festivities that comes from the Haunted Mansion Holiday, combining Halloween haunts with Christmas cheer with a little help from The Nightmare Before Christmas's Jack Skellington. The ride is completely transformed, both inside and out, for the occasion, complete with your favorite tracks from the classic film.

Make sure you hop into a Doom Buggy to see the incredible gingerbread house in the Haunted Mansion's dining room, topped with Lock, Shock and Barrel as they poke and prod at the holiday bakes.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark
Just for the Halloween season, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission BREAKOUT! is becoming Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, literally transforming after nightfall into a new adventure. This one involves teaming up with Rocket Raccoon to save Groot from The Collector and his menagerie of the creepiest monsters around.

Haul-O-Ween
Disney California Adventure Park's Cars Land will also look pretty different over the next couple of months thanks to Haul-O-Ween. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree gets a twist as Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree, while Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters is now Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween.

Halloween Screams
For a spectacular that will really cap off your night, be sure not to miss the supernatural "Halloween Screams" showcase, combining lights and projection to dazzle Disney ages of all fans. Whether you tune in on Main Street, U.S.A., at the Sleeping Beauty Castle or in front of "it's a small world," it's not one you'll soon forget—and on certain nights, it will also come with a spectacular firework show.

Plaza de la Familia (Sep. 2 to Nov. 2)
Halloween isn't the only holiday being celebrated at Disneyland this year. Until Nov. 2, Plaza de la Familia festivities will be taking place at Disney California Adventure Park's Paradise Gardens, inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos and the film Coco. "A Musical Celebration of Coco" honors the music of the film, as well as the unbreakable love of family, while visitors can also enjoy Mariachi music at Paradise Gardens Bandstand or tasty Mexican eats at the Paradise Garden Grill.
