Eco-Conscious and Sustainable Beauty Brands to Shop This Earth Month and Beyond

When we shop, we always try to keep the environment and sustainability in mind, and Earth Month—celebrated all April long—gives us a further chance to reflect on the choices we make.

That definitely applies to beauty brands, and there are some mindful, eco-conscious swaps we can all make to reduce waste and our impact on the earth. Below, find several of our favorite companies doing what they can to make a difference this Earth Month and beyond.

Rose Geranium Skincare

In addition to featuring reiki energy-infused products, Rose Geranium Skincare is eco-conscious from the bottom up. They utilize all-natural ingredients and are made in small, handmade batches while being packaged in waste-free aluminum bottles.

Seadrop Skincare

Most facial cleansers are 90% water, but Seadrop Skincare's Hydrating Seafoam Cleanser is different, coming in tablet form in a reusable glass jar. Just crush it and add water in your hand to create a foamy, luxe cleanser, without any waste or plastics. Refills also come in a biodegradable paper tube.

Babo Botanicals

Shampoo and conditioner bottles can be some of the biggest offenders when it comes to plastic waste, which is why Babo Botanicals is doing its part with its new hair offerings in paper cartons. They use 80% less plastic than traditional containers of the same size while containing the same classic formulas that put them on the map.

Dieux

As much as we love one-time-use sheet masks—especially ones for our undereyes—we don't love the idea of them winding up in landfills. Enter Dieux's new Forever Eye Mask, serving as a zero-waste, endlessly reusable version of traditional eye masks. Just apply your favorite eye cream or serum, wear and remove before washing them clean to keep the pampering going.

KIBON Beauty

While certain sheet masks take up space in landfills, we prefer those that are 100% biodegradable, like the Radiance Masks from KIBON Beauty. They're made with bast fiber, collected from the inner bark of plants, to create a lightweight, soft and thin sheet mask that will naturally break down over time once you toss it.
