Emblem3 Alphabet, Day 2 – F to J
Emblem3, composed of brothers Keaton and Wesley Stromberg and their long-time friend, Drew Chadwick, are well on their way to becoming one of the biggest bands in the nation. They've come SO far! In honor of their success, here's part 2 of our Sweety High Emblem3 Alphabet!
F – "Fix You"
As the latest season of The X Factor dwindled down to the final 10 contestants, the top 10 acts joined together to sing a rousing rendition of Coldplay's "Fix You" alongside the Bancroft Middle School Choir. Emblem3's part was our favorite!
G – GroLove
Before Emblem3, Drew and Wesley were in a group together called GroLove whose mission it was to raise awareness for social causes. With the money they made from their songs, they donated a portion of the proceeds to fight children's cancer. Who knew the boys were so giving? (We did!)
H – Huntington Beach
Though the boys are originally from Sequim, Washington, Emblem3 are based out of Huntington Beach in Orange County, California. The O.C. location is definitely a great environment to cultivate their blend of alternative, hip-hop, and reggae sounds, and being by the beach is an added bonus!
I – "I'm a Chloe"
Derived from the name of the beautiful Emblem3 song Chloe, "I'm a Chloe" is a statement of support for the band. As the lyrics go, "If only you could believe in yourself in the way I believe in you." "Chloe" also became the first Emblem3 track to hit the radio's airwaves on March 21, and will be their first single- available to download on April 16!
J – Jaiden
"Jaiden" is a pretty acoustic ditty by Drew about trying to hold on to love when it's fading fast and distance is keeping people apart. The song showcases some of our very favorite lyrics from Emblem3!
