How do I get cloud skin?

1. Hydrate

The first step to achieving cloud skin is by hydrating your skin barrier. This can be done with your go-to moisturizer.

2. Protect

Next, you'll need to protect your skin. After all, it's called cloud skin for a reason, so it's super important to apply an SPF to your face and neck (and don't forget the ears!).

3. Cover

After your skin prep, it's onto the makeup. Depending on the sort of coverage you prefer, we suggest going in with a buildable foundation or even a skin tint.

4. Enhance

And to finish things off, it's time to enhance your features with some blush, bronzer and highlighter. Put these on all of the normal spots!

Bronzer – Tower 28 Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer: $20

While cloud skin isn't focused too much on sculpting the skin, it is about balance, which is why you shouldn't skip bronzer. Tower 28's Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer is a great choice and comes in five shades, depending on your skin type. It's illuminizing and bronzing all at the same time, which is pretty much perfect for cloud skin.

Highlighter – rms beauty Luminizer: $40

If you followed each and every step up until this point, you can absolutely leave it there, but if you want to take it a step further, add a non-glittery highlighter to complete the look. We're obsessed with the Luminizer from rms beauty in the shade Living Luminzer, as it looks like your skin, but better.
