Everything You Need to Know About the Music Festivals Coming Back in 2021

Music festivals are finally on their way back, and we couldn't be more excited.

And while some of the big one, such as Coachella and Stagecoach, won't be back until 2022, there are quite a few making an appearance this year. If you've ever been to a music festival, you know they're full of incredible artists, music, food, fashion, art and more. And this year, the lineups are incredible. In fact, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Rufus Du Sol and Megan Thee Stallion are just a few of the names that pop up again and again.

Austin City Limits

Austin City Limits, also known as ACL, will be held in Austin, Texas. This year, the two three-day long weekends are from Oct. 1 to 3 and Oct. 8 to 10. Some of the big names performing include Miley Cyrus, Rufus Du Sol, Billie Eilish, Machine Gun Kelly, Stevie Nicks, Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat.

 

Bonnaroo

Bonnaroo will be held in Manchester, Tennessee. This year, the four-day festival will take place from Sep. 2 to 5. Some of the big names performing include Lizzo, Lana Del Rey, Tame Impala, Tyler the Creator, Foo Fighters, G-Eazy, Glass Animals and Lil Baby.

Bottlerock

Bottlerock will be held in Napa Valley, California. This year, the three-day festival will take place from Sep. 3 to 5. Some of the big names performing include Guns N' Roses, Stevie Nicks, Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, G-Eazy, Maren Morris, Young the Giant and Olivia O'Brien.

 

Firefly

Firefly will be held in Dover, Delaware—more specifically, the Woodlands of Dover International Speedway. This year, the four-day-long festival will take place from Sept. 23 to 26. Some of the big names performing include Billie Eilish, The Killers, Tame Impala, Wiz Khalifa, Diplo, Duke Dumont, Kim Petras and Roddy Rich.

 

The Governor's Ball

The Governor's Ball will be held in New York City, New York—more specifically, at City Field. This year, the three-day-long festival will take place from Sep. 24 to 26. Some of the big names performing include Post Malone, J Balvin, Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, DaBaby, Rufus Du Sol, 21 Savage and Tate McRae.

 

Life Is Beautiful

Life Is Beautiful will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, the three-day festival will take place from Sept. 17 to 19. Some of the big names performing include Green Day, A$AP Rocky, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion, Glass Animals, Young Thug, LANY, Noah Cyrus and Dillon Francis.

 

Lollapalooza

Lollapalooza will be held in Chicago, Illinois—more specifically, Grant Park. This year, the four-day festival will take place from July 29 to Aug. 1. Some of the big names performing include Marshmello, Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, LAUV, Steve Aoki, Kim Petras, Olivia O'Brien and Cannons.

 

Outside Lands

Outside Lands will be held in San Francisco, California—more specifically, Golden Gate Park. This year, the three-day festival will take place from Oct. 29 to 31. Some of the big names performing this year include Young Thug, Zhu, J Balvin, Tame Impala, Lizzo, Tyler the Creator, Rufus Du Sol, Vampire Weekend, Cannons and Glass Animals.
