If you're a movie buff, we're willing to bet you've seen your fair share of films.

Whether you're into horror, romance, comedy or something in between, there are plenty of movies out there for all to enjoy. And the best part? You can actually visit some of the locations at which the films were shot! In fact, we're willing to bet you've seen a good number of the movies on our list. Take Harry Potter for example—haven't we all dreamed of being students at Hogwarts?

1. Ferris Bueller's Day Off—The Art Institute of Chicago

Filmed in Chicago, Illinois, Ferris Bueller's Day Off remains to this day one of the most beloved and classic movies of all time. During Ferris' adventure of playing hooky from school, one of the stops he drags his friends is The Art Institute of Chicago. You, too, can visit this real place and pretend to be in the film!

2. Rocky—Philadelphia Museum of Art

Filmed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Rocky made the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art what they're known for today. This is where he trained for his matches—and now, there's even a statue of the boxer that visitors and fans alike can visit. Grab your camera, some sweats and do your best Rocky pose on the famous steps.

3. Harry Potter—Christ Church Cathedral

Calling all Potterheads! If you weren't aware, much of the film franchise filmed the exterior of Christ Church Cathedral, aka, Hogwarts School of Wizardry. Located in Oxford, England, fans can actually visit the holy grounds and walk through the halls. Inside, they even have the great hall where the students would gather for meals and meetings.

4. Pride and Prejudice—Chatsworth House

When you watched the film Pride and Prejudice for the first time, were you as awestruck by the location as we were? Located in Derbyshire, England, the film was shot at Chatsworth House, a gorgeous estate we hope to visit one day. When Jane Austen wrote the famous novel turned film, many believed Chatsworth House to have been the inspiration.

5. La La Land—The Harbor Freeway

Now, we aren't completely sure why anyone would want to get stuck in LA traffic, but if it's what your heart desires, you can do so. The opening scene to La La Land was filmed on the Harbor Freeway, where a full-on dance emerged with hundreds of participants. Our only suggestion to those who visit is to stay in your car!

6. Psycho—Bates Motel

If you're a fan of the classic horror film, Psycho, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, you definitely recognize the Bates Motel. Located in Universal City, California, you can actually visit this movie set. Built on the Universal lot, the motel was created to give off the most creepy and haunting vibe possible. The next time you're in the City of Angels, definitely make this a stop.

7. Forrest Gump—Lincoln Memorial

"Life is like a box of chocolates." Recognize the famous line? Spoken by actor Tom Hanks in the film Forrest Gump, this movie will always be on our list of all-time favorites. Our absolute favorite scene from the movie was shot in Stoke Park, when the two main characters enjoy a picturesque boat ride together. 9. Paddington—Buckingham Palace

The cute and cuddly bear from the film Paddington will always have a special place in our hearts. This adorable movie is one all families should watch, as it'll bring about lots of laughs and tears of joy. Oscar-winning film, Silver Linings Playbook, stars Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. The on-screen couple filmed numerous scenes at Llanerch Diner located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
