Get In 10K Steps a Day With the FEIER Treadmill

Health and wellness have always been a big part of my life.

I grew up competitively dancing, but once I went to college and stopped, I had no clue what to do. Then, I started going to the gym and fell in love with all things fitness-related. These days, I go to pilates three times a week and the gym a few days a week, but one thing I've been really struggling with is getting in 1oK steps a day, which has proven to be instrumental for heart health, strong bones, strong lungs and overall better health.

If you're like me and don't have enough hours in the day, trust me, I get the struggle. I work every weekday until 6 p.m., so that doesn't leave a lot of "me time." After all, the last thing I want to do after working all day is hit the gym, especially considering I still need to go home, cook dinner, clean the house, shower, read and just chill. See what I mean? Not enough hours in the day!

So, when the brand FEIER reached out to me and asked if I'd be interested in trying out one of their treadmills for myself, I knew all of my problems and questions had been answered. I've now been using the treadmill for about two weeks, and when I say it's altered my life for the better, I'm not even exaggerating. My Experience

FEIER Treadmill STAR 100: $1,599

Before I get into the review, I need to mention that I feel very blessed to have received this treadmill! I've always wanted one but never pulled the trigger, so it's safe to say the brand reaching out to me was like fate. However, with that being said, I will still give my 100% honest review. The treadmill runs for $1,599, but, at the moment, it's on sale for $200 off. What a steal!

The treadmill was dropped off in a huge package on top of a crate, and one look told me I would need to enlist some help. My boyfriend helped me carry it down from the garage to our home (since we live on the bottom floor) and it was honestly way easier than I thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty heavy at 160 pounds, but between the two of us, we got it downstairs relatively hassle-free.

I had no idea what to expect upon opening the treadmill. Was I going to have to put it together and follow difficult instructions? Thankfully, it was already built and padded with a bunch of styrofoam. All I needed to do was unfold it and plug it in! Seriously—it couldn't have been any easier.

I'm still getting the hang of unfolding and folding the treadmill, but I think with practice, it will become like second nature. I absolutely love the folding aspect because if I want to store it under the bed or lean it against the wall, I have that option. At the moment, I've been keeping it behind my couch and have yet to fold it up. I've been using it every day, so I honestly don't really see the point.

But let's get on to the treadmill itself. It has the capacity to support a person of up to 265 pounds and can go as fast as 11.2 miles per hour. Plus, it connects to Bluetooth and can go to a 12 (percent) incline. I was thrilled when I found out that tidbit, since I love doing the 12-3-30 method, which, if you're not familiar, is doing 12 incline at three miles per hour for 30 minutes.

I've been averaging walking for about an hour every day on the treadmill, and the best part is that I can work on my laptop while doing so! I wish that there was a way to elevate the stand, so it was more in my line of sight, but with a propped pillow under my laptop, it's honestly totally fine. When I'm not working, I'll usually just listen to an audiobook or watch a TV show on my computer. There's plenty of room to hold beverages, books, your phone (there's even a built-in charger!), a laptop and more.

Additionally, there are 36 programs to choose from if you'd rather not just wing it. But, since I typically just walk on the treadmill, and I'm not a runner, I did want to see how it worked with someone running. That's where my boyfriend came in. I plopped him on the machine and had him run for a few minutes at seven miles per hour. It was a little bit loud each time his foot would hit the machine, but that's to be expected. He liked how it felt and has been using it just as much as me.

Bottom Line

All in all, I'm so pleased with the FEIER treadmill. It's exceeded my expectations in almost every way. I love the folding capability, Bluetooth, built-in phone charger and the way it feels when I'm walking. Already I've been getting in thousands of more steps a day, and that's all thanks to this amazing treadmill. If I had to change one thing, I wish there was a way to move the "tray" up and down, so that my laptop could be raised higher or lower. But, as I mentioned earlier, I've just been propping it up on a pillow and it works just fine (first-world problems, am I right?). So, if you're in the market for a treadmill or want to start getting in more steps, I highly suggest getting your hands on this one from FEIER.
