15 Reasons Fiona the Hippo Is Total Spirit Animal Goals

Fiona the Hippo isn't your ordinary baby animal.

Born prematurely at the Cincinnati Zoo, you could say she started life out as a runt at only 29 pounds—nearly half the size of a typical hippopotamus.

From the moment she was born, Fiona wouldn't settle for anything less than excellence from her caregivers, demanding around-the-clock hand-feeding, soothing baths and, of course, tons of praise and encouragement.

This fabulous lifestyle is what makes her total spirit animal goals. Scroll below to find out more reasons why we can't get enough of this hippo-cute-amus:

2. She knows she's a firework and she's gonna let her colors burst. While the zoo claims she's usually a pretty quiet hippo, she can really make some noise around lunchtime and, you know, whenever she feels a song coming on.

3. She doesn't let anybody's "typical" weight sway her. Fiona knows that her natural born body is the perfect summer body.
