How to Fix Your Broken Makeup in 3 Easy Steps
There's nothing worse than discovering your fave makeup has broken into a million little shimmery pieces. Especially when it's your brand new compact.
I'd heard of an easy trick to fix this but had never actually put it to the test… until now.
Here's the best part about this Sweet Hack: You only need two items to make it work and you most likely have them sitting around your house.
What you need:
1. Rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol
2. A spoon
What to do:
1. Gently pour rubbing alcohol into broken makeup compact.
(Tip: It's always better to start with too little and not too much. If the makeup gets too gooey and starts clumping to the spoon, pour a little more alcohol in and that should do the trick.)
2. Smooth out the makeup compact using a spoon. Make sure to get the edges smoothed out too so it doesn't break again.
3. Let the compact sit overnight and voila!
