These Franco Sarto Boots Belong in Your Closet

I have quite the boot collection.

Tbh, I don't even want to count how many boots I have at this point! From over-the-knee to knee-high, ankle and cowboy, I have all sorts of boot styles at my disposal. This year, I really wanted to add a faux-leather knee-high boot to my closet and found the perfect pair at Franco Sarto. The brand was kind enough to send me their Katherine boot—look below to find out all about Franco Sarto and my full review of their shoes!

The Brand

Franco Sarto is an Italian shoe brand made for women with quality in mind. From timeless styles to creative designs, these shoes were made to stand the test of time. I love how they take a simple pair of classic shoes and manage to make them memorable.

The Boots

Katherine Tall Boot: $159

I decided to try out Franco Sarto's Katherine Tall Boot. It's available in black suede, black faux stretch leather and cabernet faux stretch leather (I went with the second option). Upon opening the package, I could tell I was dealing with some quality shoes.

The leather felt real to the touch and the zipper detail was made with pure craftsmanship. The zipper runs along the center back of each boot and blends into the boot, so it's not such an eye-sore. There's also some stitching detailed in the front of the boot going up the center, and I think it really adds length to the legs!

When I first put these babies on, I could immediately tell I was going to be wearing them all season long. The chunky heel is easy enough to walk in at just 3.5 inches, and the pointed toe gives the boot a classy and chic vibe. I wore these over a pair of tights with an oversized tee and the final look was pure magic. It looked effortless but high-end at the same time, which is exactly what I was going for.

I'm not gonna lie, breaking in these boots was not the easiest. My feet were hurting and I definitely don't recommend walking around a bunch the first time you wear these. But if you put them on in short spurts with thicker socks, you should be good to go.

Since these boots give off a stretch vibe, they won't look good over all pairs of jeans—just the super skinny kind. But don't let that deter you—these are perhaps the cutest boots I've ever owned and I plan on getting a lot of use out of them over the coming years.

Bottom Line

I'm so happy with the way my Katherine boots from Franco Sarto turned out. They run true-to-size and are made with special attention to detail and quality. If you're looking to add a pair of designer-looking shoes to your wardrobe at a fraction of the price, I couldn't recommend Franco Sarto enough!
