Frank Body Just Launched Two New Body Products
That post-tanning, long shower and then nap feeling is the best feeling in the world.
I always make sure to have my fan all the way up with my body heat acting as my blanket (a day in the sun will do that to you). And this past weekend, I did just that. And you know what makes this feeling of euphoria even better? Having buttery-smooth skin.
Frank Body launched two new products today, July 27, and ahead of the launch, they sent me the products to try out for myself. So, for my me-day this past weekend, I tested out their new body oil stick (game-changer) and AHA lotion. Keep scrolling to find out all about Frank Body's latest launches.
The Products
Glide 'N' Glow: $16.95
I'm a big believer in facial oils, but to be honest, I've never really gotten super into body oils. I've only ever tried one coconut body melt that I loved, so I was eager to see if the Glide 'N' Glow lived up to my expectations.
Before I put any type of skincare or makeup on my body, I always look at the ingredients. These days, it's hard to tell when a product is safe or not, so I appreciate a no-BS type of attitude, and that's exactly what Frank Body does. Glide 'N' Glow is formulated with an array of ingredients I love—most notably avocado oil, rosehip oil, guarana, Davidson plum, shea butter and cocoa butter.
This blend is said to work together to provide your skin with hydration and nourishment, all while acting as a chemical exfoliant. And after trying it out for myself, I totally agree.

Not only does the stick feel like your spreading literal soft butter all over yourself, but it works, too! The smell is very subtle and reminds me of cocoa, and the easy-to-carry stick is such a game-changer. You don't even need to rub it in! I'm telling you—my skin has been thanking me the last few days I've been using it.
I have skin on the drier side, and my hands, elbows and knees always take the brunt of it. I've been applying the stick to my problem areas and have noticed that they remain hydrated for hours on end. Instead of constantly having to reapply a hand lotion or body lotion, this gets the job done, and I couldn't be happier.
This oil stick can also be used as a highlighter. I haven't had the chance to try this out yet, but the second I do, I plan on applying it to my collarbone for a glowy effect.

Smoothing AHA Body Lotion: $19.95
If you're not used to active beauty products, I'm about to let you in on a little secret. When a product like the Smoothing AHA Body Lotion says it's made with active ingredients (AHA), that means it's been scientifically proven to do what it claims to do.
In the case of AHA, or alpha-hydroxy acids, it targets the skin and gently exfoliates the skin, getting rid of dead skin cells. It's recommended to apply this product before you go to bed so that it can really get its job done, and I'm living proof it works.

You can of course use this during the day as well, but I personally don't like having lotion on my body during the day. When I work out, I don't want to have anything on me other than my clothes (I know, I'm weird).
With that being said, I did try out the body lotion and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. I wasn't sure if I'd still feel the effects when I woke up in the morning, but my skin felt super smooth without a hint of dryness.
The powerhouse ingredients in the Smoothing AHA Body Lotion are glycolic acid, lactic acid, fruit extracts, mango seed butter and macadamia seed oil—all the good stuff that makes your skin feel super hydrated and nourished.

Bottom Line
I'm so glad Frank Body sent me the Glide 'N' Glow and Smoothing AHA Body Lotion ahead of their launch. My personal fave is definitely the body oil stick, but that's probably because of the convenience and easy-to-carry functions.
If you're on the lookout for a way to rejuvenate your skin and make it glow, I couldn't recommend both of these products enough. They're at a great price point and would look great on your vanity. Time to get shopping.
