Frankie Grande Dishes on the Importance of Skincare and How to Grow Yourself on Social Media
Frankie Grande is well known for his vibrant and unapologetic personality, as well as his bold looks—and flawless skin.
The actor, singer, dancer, producer, TV host and content creator is so much more than just Ariana Grande's big brother, and the team at Aesthetics Biomedical know this well. They picked him to speak at their Perspectives: The Evolution Of Aesthetics event in Orlando, Florida, which took place on July 24, to discuss his relationship with skincare and how to build your brand. While we couldn't be there to chat with him in person, we did get the chance to connect with him, and here's all of the wisdom he shared with us.
Sweety High: What drew you to speak at this symposium? In what ways does it align with your brand and what matters to you?
Frankie Grande: Ever since I hosted Style Code Live, which was a beauty and fashion show on Amazon for two and a half years, I've kind of developed an obsession with skincare. So when I was asked to be a part of Aesthetics Biomedical's Perspectives: The Evolution Of Aesthetics, I was like, of course, I will do it, I would love to. They asked me if I wanted to get the Vivace treatment and now I am getting the SoMe PRP treatment made for my skin. This is heaven to me. I just love skincare, so it was a natural fit for me and my brand.

SH: How long have you been passionate about skincare? What do you think is the most important skincare tip you've picked up?
FG: So I think about 10 years ago, I started really caring for my skin. That was at 28 years old, making me 38 years old now. And everyone's always like, "Oh, wow, you look so young! You don't need to do that to your skin, or this to your skin." And I was like, "Yeah, because I started 10 years ago. That's why I look good. And that's why you say I don't need it. Because I already do it." It's been a decade-long process for me, and as I continue to get older, it's probably going to become even more of a passion and obsession.
SH: How do you describe your aesthetic?
FG: My aesthetic is fun, colorful, unapologetic and bold.

SH: What exactly is microneedling? What skin issues does it solve, and why are you a big fan of it in particular?
FG: Well, let me put my doctor hat on! From my understanding microneedling is basically when small needles are heated with radiofrequency and injected into your skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, which is really good for age reduction, slackening of the skin and overall tightening and reduction of fine lines.
SH: What are your biggest tips on growing yourself (and, if you have one, a brand) on social media?
FG: My biggest tip is to be authentic and to be consistent, because people will lose interest if you don't post enough, and they will lose interest if you don't post in a manner that is true to who you are as a brand.

SH: All of us at Sweety High want to say a big congrats on your engagement! What's your biggest piece of relationship advice for your fans?
FG: Oh, my biggest piece of relationship advice is to find someone that you're not afraid to be yourself with, and don't try to change yourself to be with anyone in a relationship. Don't get into a relationship with someone who you think you need to change, because he's not going to change. You're not going to change for each other. You might change and evolve for yourself, but don't ever enter into a relationship where one or the other of you has to change. It's not going to work. I'm grateful I found somebody that I don't have to change for and that I don't want him to change at all.
SH: How are the types of skincare treatments provided by Vivace so ideal for people prepping for big events, whether they're weddings, graduations or anything else?
FG: Vivace has no downtime in my experience, so I think it's great for events like that. You don't have to hide from the world for a week after you've gotten the treatment done. It's very good for when you have an event coming up that week. You can just get it done and you'll be fine in literally a day, so I highly recommend doing it for those kinds of events.

SH: Is there anything else you'd like to add?
FG: I would like to add that I'm grateful to be here. I love being pampered. Spas are my favorite place on the earth. So anytime I can get pampered, call me. I love it.
