Froot Loops Mini Donuts Take Breakfast to the Next Level

Whenever you think breakfast can't get any better, know that anything is possible.

Two morning favorites teamed up to become another delicious breakfast food: Froot Loops Mini Donuts. The treats have debuted at Carl's Jr. and Hardee's restaurants, according to Chew Boom, and they look like a rainbow of delicious delight.

Thanks to a recent review from the YouTube channel Peep THIS Out!, we got to see them in all their sugary glory. Unlike other Froot Loop donuts we've seen, they're not covered in the cereal itself—they instead look like larger versions of it. Reviewer Ian Keiner highlighted other similarities, including the scent.

"It actually smells just like I cracked open a box of Froot Loops," he says in the video. Yum.

The mini donuts have actually been available in some places for a while. The website Cerealously wrote about them in late May, pointing out that they'd started to pop up in at participating locations and on social media but bemoaning the fact that they weren't more widely available. Now, they appear to be spreading, with Chew Boom reporting that more locations will get them on Aug. 29.

It's not a moment too soon. Our breakfast needs them.
