Take a Peek Into Funko & Disney’s Pirate-Filled, First-Ever ‘Disney Treasures’ Subscription Box
This content is brought to you by Funko.
Who wouldn't love a box of surprise Disney goodies showing up on their doorstep every other month?
Funko asked us to share the news about their new Disney Treasures subscription box. If you subscribe now, that's exactly what's going to happen—and if you love swashbuckling pirates, you have to check out this first box.
Every box is themed around a location on a special Disney Treasures map, and this first box is all about Pirate's Cove. While the contents of the box are top-secret, Funko was kind enough to send us a couple of the adorable items from the first box to give you all a sneak peek.
First, there's a POP! of Captain Hook's loyal first mate Mr. Smee from Peter Pan. We've always loved Smee, but this figure takes our affection to another level.
And then there's this ridiculously cool Wicked Wench Captain Dorbz Ride from The Pirates of the Caribbean. Rather than being inspired by the Pirates films, this Dorbz figure is actually a character from the ride.
While the pirate ship in the movie was renamed the Black Pearl, the ship on the ride was actually called the Wicked Wench. And the captain isn't the only one who can pilot the Wicked Wench—it's got a stand that will accommodate any of your favorite standard-sized Dorbz.
Who knew the pirate from The Pirates of the Caribbean ride could be so cute?
These are only two of the figures coming in the upcoming Disney Treasures box, and you have until the end of the month to subscribe yourself. Once it ships, we'll finally get to see what else is hidden in this chest of treasures. The box ships to the U.S. and Canada.
Signups for the Pirate's Cove box end on April 1, so be sure to order your box before then HERE. On April 2, a brand new Disney Treasures box will be announced. We can't wait to see what's in this box and to find out the next box's theme!
