Get Dirty Earth Day Initiative Encourages Kids!

Nickelodeon have announced their Get Dirty Earth Day initiative for 2014, which urges kids everywhere to get their hands dirty and do their part to help the Earth!

Last month, the coolest Nickelodeon stars and young volunteers came together at the Los Angeles Zoo to help out and film some TV spots showing us some fun and simple ways to do out part so help the environment!

The event included Sydney Park from Instant Mom, The Haunted Hathaways stars Amber Montana and Curtis Harris, See Dad Run's Ryan Newman and Thundermans stars Jack Griffo and Kira Kosarin!

Together, they hope to encourage us all to take action and save the planet by informing kids about what they can do every day that will help out planet in the long run! For example, we can start a compost pile, or take steps to improve recycling!

On Earth Day, April 22, Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. will also host some awesome eco-friendly programming!
