Meet GLO’s Pure Bottle—a Reusable, Self-Cleaning Water Bottle
I'm usually pretty good about drinking plenty of water every day.
But you know what gets annoying? Having to wash my water bottle every day. I'm a bit of a clean freak when it comes to my bottles and have an irrational fear (or maybe not so irrational) that mold will grow if I don't clean it daily. But what's a girl to do?
Enter GLO. The brand reached out to me and asked if I'd like to try out their self-cleaning water bottle, and I practically jumped at the chance. Keep scrolling to learn all about GLO's Pure Bottle and to see if it's worth the purchase.
The Brand
GLO is a health and beauty brand made by women, for women. Whether they're targeting cellulite with their Anti-Cellulite Massager or sore legs with their Cool Legs Cyromassager, GLO is a brand many have come to know and trust.
With the recent launch of their self-cleaning water bottle, they're expanding into an even bigger market. And after trying it for ourselves, we think they're going to see loads of success.

The Product
Pure Bottle: $49.90
When I opened the package containing my brand new Pure Bottle from GLO, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. All of the reusable water bottles I've used before are jumbo size, and I've gotten used to holding a relatively heavy water bottle. The Pure Bottle, however, is pretty small.
Now, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. In fact, the more I thought about it, the more excited I was to try it out. My thought process is: the more times I fill it up, the more water I'm drinking—which is a great thing! The bottle can hold up to 400 ml of water, which is a little bit more than a typical, plastic water bottle. Once I got used to the compact size, I couldn't even imagine going back to my big, bulky bottles of the past. In fact, most of the time they don't even fit in cup holders.

My favorite feature of the Pure Bottle is without a doubt the self-cleaning function. With other water bottles, I've noticed weird aftertastes and even unpleasant smells. But the self-cleaning feature takes all of that nonsense away. How? With UV technology.
I'm personally a huge proponent of using UV in skincare, so why not use it for hydrating the inside of my body, too? The UV technology essentially kills any and all bacteria present in the bottle, meaning there will also be no bad taste or smell.
So, how exactly does the self-cleaning function work? It's really quite simple from a user standpoint. All you have to do is press a button—yep, that's it. Within three minutes, the bottle will be as good as new. I've been taking the Pure Bottle with me to my desk, on errands and to the gym. It keeps water cold for up to 24 hours and hot water for up to 12 hours. Basically, it's all you could ever need.

Bottom Line
All in all, I'm super impressed with the GLO Pure Bottle. The small size may turn some people off from the product, but I still think you should at least give it a try. After all, I did, and I now love it.
Compared to other reusable water bottles, the price is pretty much in the same area. Only this time, it cleans itself. That's pretty tough to beat, if you ask me.
