The Perfect Good Luck Charm for You, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Even if you don't consider yourself superstitious, it never hurts to keep a lucky charm by your side.

Whether you're the type of person who feels like you perform better and achieve more when luck is on your side, or you simply find that more good things happen to you when your luck is running high, we can all benefit from a little luck from time to time. And while many of us stumble upon our own good luck charms in life, others might need a little more help. If that's you, keep reading to find out what would be your perfect good luck charm, based on your zodiac sign.

Aries (March 21 – April 19): Rabbits

While we're not big fans of lucky rabbits' feet (they're quite unlucky for the rabbit), we think rabbits are a worthy luck symbol, and a charm representing a rabbit is just as fortuitous as the real thing. The rabbit reminds us that going out on a limb and taking risks can be rewarded, and that we don't get what we want out of life without going for it, first. That's perfect for bold and action-oriented Aries.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Lucky Coin

"Find a penny, pick it up. All day long, you'll have good luck." This well-known rhyme is a classic, but who says that a coin's luck will only last for the rest of the day? Because Taurus is the sign that's best with money, we think this is an especially potent charm. Lucky coins can be special not just because you found them, but because of where and how you found them. Assign that unique memory to the coin and keep it around for both general luck and financial success.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Fuzzy Dice

Not only are fuzzy dice an adorable accessory for your rearview mirror, but they can also be quite lucky, especially for Geminis. The sign is known for being drawn to fast-paced games, and games of chance that require dice, so they may be especially drawn to the symbol. If you're going to be making a bit of a gamble, you might as well have a little luck on your side.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Clovers

According to Irish legend, clovers (four-leaved and otherwise) are lucky because they help us avoid the tricks of mischievous fairies who might bring bad luck. Because Cancer can be especially sensitive and in tune with the world around them, clovers are a good fit for them. They could use a little protection from being unlucky in love and life, and that little boost of confidence can bring them a long way.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Horseshoes

Horseshoes are said to be lucky because the iron in them makes evil forces flee, but on a more practical level, any relationship with majestic horses makes someone pretty lucky! Leo is a sign that's all about boldness and showmanship, and what's showier than arriving on the back of a horse? This symbol connects to their attention-grabbing nature—and if nailing a horseshoe to the wall isn't your thing, you can always try a cute horseshoe charm on a bracelet.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22): Lucky Number 7's

Virgo may be the most practical and analytic sign of the zodiac, so it might make sense that their "lucky" number is less about luck and more about statistics. Did you know that when you roll two dice, you're more likely to roll a seven than any other number? The origin of the lucky number likely derives from this fact—but that doesn't mean that the number won't serve you elsewhere, and may prove to be lucky in other ways.

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22): Ladybugs

Libra is a sign known for indecisiveness, so it would only make sense that their lucky charm would choose them, instead of the other way around. It's said that when a ladybug lands on you, you're bound to have good luck—and may even have true love in store for you. While you can't force ladybugs to come to you and bring you their good fortune, you can try manifesting it with ladybug jewelry and accessories.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Wishbones

There's something a little bit mystical and mysterious to Scorpio, which is why we think wishbones are their perfect good luck charm. Not only does the bone element grant a bit of spooky seasonality to their October or November birthday, but we think the ritual is also relevant. It's not just about luck, but also making your wishes come true and envisioning the future. When the wishbone is broken between two people, whoever has the bigger half will get their wish—and Scorpio will definitely relate to not always getting what they want.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Evil Eyes

The evil eye symbol dates all the way back to Greece in the sixth century BC, and now has vast cultural significance across the Meditteranean and West Asia. As the traveler of the zodiac, Sagittarius is the sign most likely to recognize the symbol, and the most likely to benefit from it. The evil eye is said to protect from bad luck caused by curses, and since blunt Sagittarius can often have their foot in their mouth, they may need that protection from time to time.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): Acorns

Hard-working Capricorns require a good luck symbol that represents their persistence, ambition and realism, so the acorn is just right for them. This good luck symbol represents new life and unfettered growth, but it's the kind of growth that must be tended to and maintained in order to thrive. Capricorn knows you don't get by on luck alone, but they have everything needed to take the little luck they have and grow it into something huge.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Rainbows

Aquarius is a sign that's independent and optimistic, always moving to the beat of their own drum, which is why rainbows are their ultimate symbol for luck. The sign understands that to get a rainbow, you need both the rain and the sun. They manage to succeed, even in adversity, and their open-mindedness means they welcome people of all stripes.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20) Dreamcatchers

Pisces is known to be the dreamer of the zodiac, so it only makes sense that dreamcatchers would bring them great luck. Dreamcatchers are said to catch bad dreams and thoughts, which applies not only to nightmares, but also to the daydreams that don't serve you, or will steer you in the wrong direction. A dreamcatcher just might help you latch onto that dream that's worth chasing, and that will guide you to your destiny.
