A Comprehensive Guide to KQ Entertainment’s Newest Boy Group, xikers
On Feb. 24, KQ Entertainment, the masterminds behind K-pop boy group ATEEZ, dropped the news that their second boy group finally had a name: xikers. Their name takes the word "hikers" and uses an "x" to symbolize coordinates, coming together to represent "boys who travel through time and space in search of coordinates."
By the time of this announcement, the forthcoming ATEEZ labelmates already had a prominent fanbase—for larger companies in the Korean entertainment spaces, it's not uncommon for listeners to begin following groups pre-debut. For xikers—who, for three years, were known as KQ Fellaz 2—fans have anxiously awaited their debut since the unveiling of their first trainee post-ATEEZ in 2018, Yechan.
Nearly three years later, xikers is finally here with a promising seven-track EP, House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing. The K-pop rookies debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists charts and have already sold over 100,000 units.
If you want to learn more about xikers, we've put together a comprehensive guide for all 10 members.
Minjae
Minjae was the first member KQ Entertainment revealed on YouTube, and he is the leader and oldest member of xikers—born on April 10, 2003.
Before becoming a trainee, Minjae revealed that he had never sung or danced, making the training experience fascinating. He realized that he wanted to become a trainee after watching a music performance.
Junmin
Junmin is the second member announced on KQ Entertainment's YouTube channel and the lead vocalist of xikers. He was born on May 24, 2003. Junmin first wanted to become a singer after his friend showed him a music video in middle school.

Sumin
Born April 7, 2004, Sumin is the main rapper of xikers. Like Junmin, Sumin realized he wanted to become a performer during middle school. He fell in love with dancing after watching a friend perform during a celebration, and eventually, it led him to sing as well.
Beyond his musical abilities, Sumin is also an avid drawer and recalls winning an award during elementary school for his talents.
Jinsik
Jinsik is another lead vocalist of xikers and was born on July 30, 2004. He grew very interested in performing at a young age after he saw someone close to him singing.
Jinsik believes he can appear timid, but once you get to know him, you will see he's very outgoing and mischievous.
Hyunwoo
Hyunwoo is the main vocalist in xikers. He was born on Dec. 4, 2004, and can also speak English and Japanese. Before his trainee days, Hyunwoo was a member of his school's band and enjoyed showing off his vocal ability to his friends.
Hyunwoo trained for less time than the other members of xikers, so he often worries that he's not good. However, Hyunwoo loves a good challenge and always puts in the extra effort to be the best version of himself!

Seeun
Seeun is a vocalist in xikers and was born on Aug. 17, 2005. He can also speak Japanese and English. In his childhood, Seeun was very quiet and introverted. After he became passionate about music, he turned into a very extroverted person.
Seeun is one of the tallest members of xikers. Because of his height and long neck, he would be a giraffe if he had to pick an animal to become.
Yujun
Vocalist Yujun was born on Oct. 5, 2005. He fell in love with singing after he performed at a school talent show. Throughout his life, he has been very enthusiastic about performing, so he felt extremely excited to start training as soon as possible.
Yujun revealed on KQ Entertainment's Youtube channel that he is the "hungriest" member of xikers. When he is at his hungriest, he can eat up to four cups of ramen.
Hunter
Hailing from Thailand, Hunter is the only non-Korean member of xikers and can speak Thai, Korean and English. He is the group's vocalist and main dancer and shares a birthday with Yujun.
Hunter began performing at a young age while in school and noticed that he was happiest on stage. Though he can appear confident and cool while he's singing and dancing, Hunter thinks he is quite shy and quiet behind the scenes.
Yechan
Despite being the first announced trainee under KQ Entertainment, Yechan was the last member of xikers to be revealed on their YouTube channel. He's the youngest member of xikers, born on Oct. 21, 2005, and acts as the group's main rapper.
Prior to becoming one of the KQ Fellaz, Yechan participated in the reality competition series, Under Nineteen. Yechan finished in 15th place, leaving him ineligible to debut in the group, but brought him home to xikers.
