Your Weirdest Gym Habit, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Nobody wants to be a nuisance at the gym, but there are so many unwritten rules of gym etiquette that it can be tough not to break one or two of them.

If you're not sure what your weirdest gym habit is, just scroll down to your zodiac sign below to find out.

Aries (March 21 – April 19): Taking Too Many Gelfies

Aries is the most active zodiac sign, and you want people to know it. You channel much of your energy and enthusiasm into maintaining your body, so why not show it off? At the gym, you probably take frequent breaks to document your progress and constantly post Insta Stories about how well your workout is going. Just try not to hog the equipment while you're taking all your gym selfies.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Wearing Full Makeup to Workouts

Taurus prefers to always do a good job—and look great doing it. Just because you're going to be getting a little sweaty doesn't mean you won't get fully dolled up for your next gym session. It might be a lot of work, and your makeup probably won't make it through the entire workout, but since you're more likely to feel confident and encouraged if you know you look cute, you believe it's totally worth the effort.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Trying to Make Friends With Everyone

A visit to the gym is social hour for Gemini—even when everyone else is trying to keep to themselves and do their own thing. You're more capable of sticking to your tough workout if you can keep distracted with a friendly conversation. Unfortunately, the people you're chatting up might prefer it if you would just leave them alone. If you can find a gym buddy who likes gabbing away while you exercise as much as you do, you'll be able to reach all your fitness goals.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Checking People Out

Cancer is a sentimental and romantic sign, so you're more likely to keep to your exercise plans if you're emotionally invested in them. That's why you associate the gym with an opportunity to find "the one." Maybe a crush on someone at the gym keeps you coming back, or you daydream about meeting your future S.O. while you're lifting weights. And if that doesn't work out, the gym is usually full of health-conscious cuties anyway.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Making Too Much Noise

Outgoing Leos aren't afraid of catching attention, so if you're in the middle of a super tough workout, you don't mind letting loose and making all kinds of grunting noises. You believe that keeping all of those sounds to yourself would make you less powerful, which totally defeats the purpose of going to the gym in the first place. If people give you weird looks, you don't even mind. You don't let anyone prevent you from doing you.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22): Silently Judging Other People's Routines

Virgo is a perfectionistic sign, so you're very careful and precise when you go to the gym. You've read up on exactly how to carry yourself and move your body so that you maximize your fitness while avoiding any chance of strain. At the same time, you cringe at everyone else's dangerous workouts and poor form—though you're usually too polite to say anything and correct them.

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22): Hovering While You Wait

Libra is a peace-keeping sign that doesn't like to make waves, so when you're at the gym, you can be kept waiting for a while. When you want to utilize a piece of equipment but someone is taking their sweet time on it, you're more than happy to hover around until they're done. You hope your presence will deliver the message that it's your turn, but you'd never speak up and let them know it.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Leaving Because There Are Too Many People

Scorpio tends to dislike the gym because they'd rather work out in private, but, unfortunately, most of us don't have personal gyms at home. Of all the signs, you're the most likely to pop into the gym for about five minutes before you decide it's too crowded and you head home. You like to keep your business to yourself, and you think there's something a little too intimate about exercise for you to happily do it in public.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Loudly Singing Along to Your Music

Sagittarius is an optimistic and energetic sign, so you can sometimes forget your place when you get really into that you're doing. With your music blaring in your headphones, you might even start loudly singing along to tunes that only you can hear. While this can totally pump you up for your workout, it can also be super distracting for everyone else at the gym. Maybe gauge the people around you before you continue to serenade them.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): Lecturing Everyone Else

Capricorn is a wise sign that knows their stuff—but sometimes you know it a little too well. You wouldn't be working out unless you knew the correct way to do it, and when you see that others aren't following the rules, you're more than happy to lecture them on the right way to do things. Not only do you love demonstrating you knowledge, but you also enjoy helping people with it. Of course, people might think you're just being a know-it-all, but you don't mind too much.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Checking Yourself Out in the Mirror

Aquarius is an independent sign, and, although you do enjoy helping others, you're perfectly content with your own company. You value yourself, from your original ideas and generosity to your looks, which can also lead to you being a little vain. At the gym, it's not uncommon for you to be spotted in front of the mirror admiring yourself, and if you're seeing progress in your fitness, you're going to wind up spending even more time there.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): Barely Exercising and Mostly Watching TV

Pisces can be more of a dreamer than a doer, and chances are that, even if you get yourself to the gym, you're not going to be fully invested in a workout. You're more likely to pick a more passive workout, like an exercise bike and elliptical, and even then you'll be way more focused on a TV screen or your phone than actually burning calories. But at least you got out of the house, right?
