3 Easy Alternatives to Fully Dyeing Your Hair

Dyeing our hair a bold, bright color—we've all thought about it at some point.

It's easy to get swept up in the idea of rocking one of the many crazy hair trends that have popped up recently, but it's a bigger commitment than we realize. So if you'd rather just dip your toe in the world of hair dyeing rather than diving right in, try these three simple alternatives to test the waters:

1. Clip-In Extensions

Colored clip-ins are one of the easiest ways to try a color you like in your hair. Heck, you can even try three, four or five colors at once. If you don't like it, simply unclip them from your head and pretend like it never happened. Bless Demi Lovato for her Secret Color Hair Extensions. They're so handy in times like these. Pick up a pair HERE.

2. Wigs

Wigs are so fun and you can actually see what you would look like if you dyed your whole head a pastel hue, a la Kylie Jenner. Plus, they don't damage your hair. They can, however, be pretty expensive. Luckily, Party City has some playful ones that won't break the bank HERE.

3. Dip Dye

This is a classic way to try any shade of the rainbow in your hair. It may require that you actually dye your hair, similar to Bella Thorne's newly added pink tips. If even that seems too committal, try using hair chalk or Joico's InstaTint shades to produce the (temporary) color your heart desires.

After reading this post, you may have realized you're actually ready to take the plunge into fully dyeing your hair. We suggest trying out the watermelon hair color trend, because it looks uh-mazing on everyone. Get all the inspo you need HERE.
