A Hello Kitty Cafe Is Opening in California, and We Want to Eat There Immediately
Two things that we love are finally coming together for good: Hello Kitty and beautiful cafes.
We're closing in fast on the opening day of the first-ever Hello Kitty Grand Cafe. Sanrio, the company behind the famous brand, recently announced its plans, and the big event will be held Sept. 14. Starting then, Hello Kitty lovers will be able to enjoy the Irvine, California cafe's gorgeous ambiance and delicious treats, drinks and merch.
There's only one location so far. The cafe will be found in Irvine's Spectrum Center, the same shopping center that once housed a Hello Kitty pop-up café. Now, however, the Hello Kitty Cafe will be there permanently, making it the first in the United States. It will have both a walk-in section with grab-and-go seating, and then there will also be a separate space called the Bow Room.

Described as "a hidden reservations-only pink oasis," the Bow Row will offer an afternoon tea service from Wednesday to Sunday each week. The price is set at $55 per person, and it includes seasonal fruit, a variety of tea sandwiches, lots of different sweets and, of course, tea. It sounds and looks delightful.

You don't need a Bow Room reservation to enjoy yourself, though. The public part of the Hello Kitty Cafe also has wonderful decor and beautiful food that will make you drool. We're in love, just from the photos.
Can we just move in there?
