2023 truly has been a spectacular year for 19-year-old English singer-songwriter Henry Moodie.

Perhaps best known for his breakout 2022 single "you were there for me," Henry truly hasn't slowed down since his musical debut. The star studied at London's prestigious BIMM Music Institute, and between his perfectly pitched vocals and his aching, gut-wrenching songwriting, he's the whole package. He recently toured with Lauren Spencer Smith and Mimi Webb across Europe and has accumulated more than 150 million streams on just a handful of tracks, and his future is only getting brighter. "Getting out in nature for a walk or a run whenever I'm feeling stressed or need to think things through is a game changer for me. Everyone should try it."

2. His good luck rituals include green tea and vocal warmups before a gig.

"Always! I think my crew know my entire vocal warmup routine by heart by now. Sometimes they sing along!"

3. He doesn't consider himself much of a gamer these days, but growing up, he was very into Minecraft and Mario games.

"Reminding myself on what it means to be an Aries… 'Unafraid of conflict, highly competitive and honest. High energy, competitive and ambitious.' I'd say seven out of 10. I do think I'm ambitious and high energy most of the time. I want to be the best I can possibly be. But I'm not a huge fan of conflict… That's not for me."

"I had the opportunity to cover one of Sting's songs when he was honored at the Ivors earlier this year, and they brought him in to watch halfway through. I had no idea they were going to do that, and I was shook. I nearly forgot the line 'every breath you take' in 'Every Breath You Take.'

6. His best school subjects were music and geography, and his worst was English.

"I'm not too bad at sports, either. I used to swim a lot."

"It was crazy the way they know how to connect with every single member of the stadium and create such an inclusive and energetic environment in such a huge space."

"It's not ideal because in my label office, there's a whole wall of it. I have to close my eyes every time I walk past."
