Here’s Everything We Know About the Next Season of Bridgerton
It's been almost one year since we saw Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton's love story. To say that we are craving for more is an understatement.
Thankfully, Bridgerton has dropped exclusive glimpses over the past two months to tease the upcoming television season. Curious to learn what we gathered? Continue reading to discover everything we have learned about the next installment.
What Is It About?
The upcoming season will follow Julia Quinn's An Offer From a Gentleman. Sophie Beckett (now called Sophia Baek in the Netflix adaptation) sneaks into the masquerade ball, charming the coveted Benedict Bridgerton. Her lower social status, however, will create some tension in the high-profile Bridgerton household. If you can't tell, it's a Cinderella story. We already know it will pull at our heartstrings.

Who Stars in the Show?
Although we haven't seen Phoebe Dynevor as Daphne Bridgerton and Regé-Jean Page as Simon Basset, we can still look forward to seeing Colin, Penelope, Eloisa, Anthony, Hyacinth, Gregory, Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury and more return.
As we mentioned earlier, the season will highlight Benedict and his love interest, Sophie, played by Korean-Australian actress Yerin Ha.
How Does It Connect to the Previous Seasons?
If you're loyal viewer of Bridgerton, you'll know structure of the show. As the book centers on one couple, the series also highlights one pairing. That said, you'll see the continuation of some subplots (like Penelope and Eloise's friendship). Hopefully, we will continue to see Sophie and Penelope in future seasons to watch how their relationship develops with one another and the rest of the cast.
