5 Hidden-Gem International Clothing Brands

Does anyone else get a rush of excitement from trying out new fashion? Don't get us wrong—brands like Forever 21 and Pacsun always have us looking amazing, but there's something thrilling and fulfilling about being able to try brands from around the world.

As a result, we've pretty much spent the last few months collecting international boutiques and stores that don't break the bank and diversify our closets. So, you can kind of consider us an expert on all the hidden-gem clothing companies you should know. But there's no gatekeeping here! Below, find five of our favorite brands outside the United States that you should know.

WEGO

WEGO, based in Japan, is affordable and trendy, and they offer thousands of items you can wear casually or dress up!

The brand offers men's and women's clothing for, on average, around $25 but goes as low as $5. If you've fallen in love with the trendy (but minimalistic) clothing brands on Instagram and Pinterest, WEGO has all the basics you need to recreate the looks.

Rouje

French clothing company Rouje is single handedly helping us live out our Parisian dreams.

You probably know—and love—brands like Reformation, but Rouje is basically the authentic version of it. French influencer Jeanne Damas founded Rouje in 2016 with a mission to create timeless looks and give every woman a special kind of je ne sais quoi

Skydance

Honestly, this Polish-based brand makes us want to go full alt mode.

Skydance prides itself as the first alternative clothing company in Poland, founded in 2014. Many of their items are inspired by the iconic early 2010s Tumblr fashion, and each product is ethically handmade in Poland using local sewing studios and locally sourced materials. And one of the most charming points: it's owned by a real alt-loving family that wants to provide grunge fashion for an accessible price.

Pain or Pleasure

Pain or Pleasure is the South Korean clothing brand all your favorite K-pop idols love to wear.

The items from their collection have been worn members of ITZY, Aespa, BLACKPINK and more. Their both ethereal and edgy and look to be as comfortable as they are cute. If you're having trouble styling these unique pieces, don't worry. Their Instagram page is filled with ideas, and they even have a second account dedicated to showing off everyday wear for all the inspiration you need.
