How To Build A Better Boy, Full-length Trailer!

A brand new, full-length trailer for the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie How To Build A Better Boy reveals more of the film's plot than ever!

Gabby Harrison (China Anne McClain) and Mae Hartley (Kelli Berglund) are geniuses in the classroom and on the computer, but not so much when it comes to dealing with boys and popularity.

Mae has a massive crush on class cutie Jaden Stark (Noah Centineo), but the school's queen bee, Nevaeh Barnes (Ashley Argota) tells Mae that she'll never manage Jaden's attention if she continues to be a nerd.

In response, Mae and Gabby lie, saying that Mae actually does have a boyfriend, named Albert. Nevaeh asks her to prove it, and Mae realizes she'll have to come clean.

But Gabby comes up with an idea. With their expertise in science, why can't they just make a boyfriend for Mae? The two best friends decide to hack into Mae's dad's secure network at work to build a high-tech boyfriend!

They set out to create a boy that's tall, strong, and handsome yet oblivious. Their creation Albert (Marshall Williams) comes to life, but what the girls don't realize is that his creation resulted in a data overload, and even more, he's also a robotic super soldier!

At first, Albert seems like an absolutely perfect boy, even serenading Mae with a ukulele version of Selena Gomez's "Love You Like A Love Song." But soon Gabby and Mae discover that agents from the nation's most secret agencies are tracking them both down, because Albert caused a Pentagon security breach!

We recently spoke with China Anne McClain briefly about her role in How To Build A Better Boy!

"It was very fun shooting it," China said. "Behind the scenes there were a lot of laughs going on because the cast is kind of crazy."

She absolutely can't wait for her fans to be able to check out the movie later this year!

"Both boys and girls are really going to like it," she said. "It's a movie that you can sit down and watch with your entire family."
