Hugh & Grace’s Serums Have Completely Changed My Skin
Two months ago I hopped on a Zoom call with the brand Hugh & Grace as well as one of their investors, Rachel Zoe.
After listening to the founder, Sara Jensen, as well as Rachel, speak about the brand, I was instantly sold on the company. They sent over a few of their products to try out for me, and I quickly fell in love with their serums.
When I tell you they've completely changed my skin, I'm not doing it nearly enough justice. Below, find out all about the two serums Hugh & Grace sent me, and why I think you should get them, too.
Restoring Face Serum: $95
You know how most people can't function in the morning without a cup of coffee? I'm the same way—just switch out the coffee for Hugh & Grace's Restoring Face Serum. A lot of the serums I'm used to have other qualities—especially when it comes to the texture itself. They typically dissolve into my skin or hands right away and I can barely tell it's on—let alone what sort of effect it's having on my skin.
However, with this serum, it goes on almost like a facial oil. Some key ingredients include vitamin C, grapeseed oil and primrose oil. It's super hydrating, 100% natural, plant-based, makes my skin look dewy and is the perfect additional step to my morning skincare routine. So, I do my cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer and then SPF. I also like to finish off with a facial mist, which I typically apply throughout the day.
Ever since I've started using this serum, I haven't had to deal with any dry patches on my skin or any serious breakouts. I've gotten one zit on my chin in the last two months—and that's it!
Renewing Night Serum: $90
Part of my nighttime ritual involves taking a bath (yes, even during the summer), doing my skincare routine and reading a book. These days, I feel naked and exposed without putting on the Hugh & Grace Renewing Night Serum. It's become a part of my routine that I can't even imagine my life without it.
Like the other serum, this one goes on feeling like an oil (which I'm obsessed with, btw). It's green in color, 100% natural, vegan and full of ingredients like rosehip oil, pumpkin seed oil and vitamin E. In fact, most of the ingredients are an oil of some sort, so it comes as absolutely no surprise to me that I think of both serums as more of an oil. I used to live by facial oils, and since I've started using this serum/oil hybrid, I haven't had to use any.
Perhaps my favorite part of the night serum is when I wake up in the morning. I used to race to my moisturizer in search of hydration for my skin, but these days, my skin is feeling hydrated and super smooth from the moment I open my eyes.
If you're planning on purchasing both serums, I recommend getting the Restore, Renew Set ($170), because you'll automatically save $15.
