I See Fire By Ed Sheeran To Grace The Hobbit!
We are obsessed with Ed Sheeran's emotional new acoustic track "I See Fire," and we loved seeing Ed's creative process in the new video for the song!
Ed recorded the song for the soundtrack of the second installation in The Hobbit series, The Desolation Of Smaug! "I See Fire" is complete with acoustic guitar, violins, and cello, giving it a the perfect Middle Earth touch!
The video documents Ed's studio session as he personally records his vocals and every instrument, except the cello. He even taught himself how to play the violin especially for the track, and we get to see a bit of him playing the instrument the music video!
"It's also the first solo song I've released in over 2 years, it's not on the new album though, that fun starts next year," Ed Tweeted earlier this week.
The video also features film director Peter Jackson, as well as sneak peek clips of the upcoming movie, which releases in theaters on December 13!
