Inside Out: Pixar Takes Us Inside The Human Mind!

Pixar has just announced the first details of its upcoming film Inside Out, which stars some of the biggest names in comedy!

The entire film takes place inside of the mind of an 11-year-old girl named Riley. There, the emotions of Anger, Disgust, Fear, Joy and Sadness take form inside of Riley's brain, serving as her guides through everyday life.

Riley lives a quaint life in the Midwest until her family must relocate after her dad gets an important job in San Francisco. The characters in Riley's subconscious must help her cope with the new circumstances of her life!

Director Pete Docter, who also directed the Pixar classics including Up and Toy Story, based the film on his own relationship with his daughter

"It's based on a strong emotional experience I had watching my daughter grow up," Docter said in an interview with Variety. "There is something that is lost when you grow up — and the film became a way to explore that change on an emotional level."

The film's voice talent includes Bill Hader and Amy Poehler of Saturday Night Live fame, Phyllis Smith and Mindy Kaling from The Office and comedian Lewis Black.

Inside Out is set to release June 19, 2015! That's more than a year away, but it's never to early to get excited for what's sure to be an incredible film!
