International Women’s Day 2014 With Sweety High!

Today is International Women's Day 2014, and this year's U.N. theme for the holiday is "Equality for Women Is Progress for All!"

The first National Women's Day was observed on February 28, 1909. More than 100 years later we are observing the 106th International Women's Day!

Now, the holiday is celebrated on March 8th every year, and is celebrated across the world to reflect the unique cultures and traditions of the celebrating countries!

While some regions focus on respect, appreciation and love for women, others celebrate women's successes in the economy, politics and social world. Here at Sweety High, we want to celebrate all women in what they do on this special day!
