10 Common Issues in Relationships That Aren’t Worth a Breakup
Whether you're currently in a relationship or have been in one in the past, you've probably had your fair share of mishaps with your S.O.
Sometimes they're likely drive you crazy, even to the point of breaking up with them. But where should the line actually be drawn?
There are absolute reasons why you should end things with someone, but there are also disagreements and annoyances that shouldn't call for a split. Keep reading for 10 common issues in relationships that aren't worth a breakup.
1. They're Friendly to Other Girls
Some people are just naturally charismatic—which can be perceived as flirty. Usually, it's totally harmless. In fact, that's probably what drew you to them in the first place. Who doesn't dig a person who always fits into their surroundings and makes everyone feel right at home? Obviously, if it becomes more than harmless banter, then that's reason for concern. But ultimately, if they're just super friendly, let it be. If it truly bothers you, let them know how you feel, and kindly ask them to tone it down a few notches when you're around.
2. They Don't Get Good Grades
If they struggle with school but at least put forth effort to succeed, it's not worth breaking-up. Not everyone is gifted with A+ intelligence, so take it easy on them. However, if they clearly don't care about their education all together, let them know it's important to you, and see if they're willing to take a step in your direction.

3. They Won't Discuss the Future With You
You have plenty of time to talk about your futures, so don't take it personally if they're not ready just yet. They might not have their own plan concocted yet, so let them figure out their wants and needs before throwing yours on them.
4. They 'Like' Other Girls' Pics on Social Media
If it's their ex's photos they're liking, there's definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. However, if it's a sporadic type of thing they do with friends of theirs, you probably don't need to worry about it. Have a candid conversation if it really bothers you, or if you feel like they're being sneaky. But ultimately, your S.O. is surrounded by plenty of girls on the reg (whether they choose to be or not), so it's only natural that some of them will become their friends.
5. You Don't Share Similar Interests
Haven't you ever heard of the phrase, "opposites attract?" Just because you may not like the same things, it doesn't mean you need to stop seeing each other. In fact, a relationship where two partners don't share the same views can lead to a romance with lots of intelligent conversations—making you wiser!
6. You Had a Fight, and Can't Remember What Caused It
All couples fight. All of them—even the seemingly perfect ones. Doing so from time to time can actually be beneficial. It shows you care about the other person and that something they did had the ability to upset you. If you had an argument (big or small) over something you can't even recall, it probably just means you've been spending too much time together, and are starting to get on each other's nerves. A little hiatus from hanging out should get you guys back on track in no time.

7. They Have Annoying Mannerisms
Maybe they chew with their mouth open; maybe they take too long to text you back—whatever the annoying habit may be, it's not worth calling it quits. We all have our quirks, so it's something you'll unfortunately have to come to terms with, regardless of who you date!
8. You're Bored
You might think you're bored, but chances are, you're just comfortable in your relationship—which isn't a bad thing. The initial excitement and butterflies are likely to decrease a bit for couples who have been together a long while or who spend a ton of time together. If you want a bit more excitement, talk to your partner about it and come up with some activities you can do to kick up the romance. That said, if you don't enjoy this person's company anymore and don't want to work on the relationship, well then that's a different story.
9. They're Forgetful
While this is super annoying, it's not worth splitting up. Anyone who forgets a lot is probably unorganized. Figure out ways to help them remember things, and explain to them why this behavior drives you nuts. Perhaps set up reminders on their phone, write them notes or buy them a handheld planner or calendar and encourage them to write in it.
10. You're Attracted to Other People
If you're in a relationship, it doesn't automatically mean you'll stop noticing other people. If you find someone else to be really cute or you develop a little crush, you probably don't need to worry about it. But if your feelings take over and you'd rather date them, you definitely need to assess your relationship.
