The It-Girl Jewelry Trends of Fall and Winter 2020
With the weather turning crisp and trips to Starbucks becoming more frequent, it's pretty clear fall is in full throttle.
This time of year, not only do our coffee orders change, but what we wear does, too. This year, we're all about accessories. Whether it's a purse, belt, sunnies or something else, we love being able to dress up an outfit with the snap of our fingers.
In For 2020, jewelry is definitely taking the front seat, and with so many incredible brands out there to choose from, there are loads of styles we plan on trying out. Keep reading for the it-girl jewelry trends of fall and winter 2020:
Vintage-Chic Locks
Kallisto Chantelle Necklace: $70
Most people don't want to shell out hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars on something as simple as jewelry. So, what do we do when a designer piece is so incredible, we simply need it? We turn to vintage pieces, duh. Kallisto was launched during the heat of COVID-19, and we're so glad we discovered this incredible jewelry brand. From vintage Louis Vuitton-inspired locket necklaces to Christian Dior bracelets and plated necklaces, they offer everything a true style icon could drool over. We're especially loving the Chantelle necklace. Hint hint, we're adding this lock to our Christmas lists!
Personalized Pendants
BaubleBar Angela Initial Pendant Necklace: $48
If your sister (or even mom) loves your style, chances are, they raid your closet all the time. With a personalized pendant, however, you won't need to worry about them stealing your goods (unless, of course, you have the same first initial.) This season, we guarantee you'll see pendants just like this one from BaubleBar all over your IG feed. Not only is it fun, custom and totally unique to you and your name, but it doesn't look half-bad either. In fact, it looks effortlessly stunning. We love the idea of pairing it with other necklaces, as well. Plus, if you have an S.O., you could get a pendant with their initial, to share the fact they're off the market.
Modern-Classic Gold Hoops
Tai Jewelry Gold Oval Hoop With Snap Closure: $55
When everyone and their mother are wearing a trend, it's a pretty good indicator that it's not going away any time soon. This is certainly the case with modern-classic gold hoops. Whether they're a pair of huggies or a bit larger, they're what every single it-girl is going to be wearing all season long. Not only are they super easy to throw on, but they look good with pretty much everything. If you're running a few errands and want to elevate your outfit, these hoops are the perfect add-on. You can even wear them for your next date night—they're that versatile.
Chunky Chain Bracelets
Electric Picks Harden Bracelet: $78 and Leo Bracelet: $64
There's just something about a stack of arm candy that makes us giddy. Why? We truly have no idea, but when that stack is gold and chunky, we become even more obsessed. This season, fashionistas everywhere are going to be rocking all sorts of chunky jewelry. From bracelets to necklaces to chain belts, the chunkier, the better. We're especially digging these pieces from Electric Picks. The slightly different size of the chains brings some much-needed dimension, and we're thinking it's the perfect accessory to elevate any look.
Thin and Dainty Rings
Linjer Lillian Ring: $29 and Martine Ring: $50
We never met a ring we didn't like. Okay, that's probably a lie, but we never met a LINJER ring we didn't like! This brand knows what it's doing when it comes to rings, and they've become our go-to destination for all things dainty. Not only are their pieces stunningly hand-crafted, but each piece has its own flair. For example, in the photo below, each ring on its own would look incredible, but when paired together, they create a whole new vibe, and we're digging it. They say less is more, but in this case, we think the more, the merrier!
