Here’s What You Need to Know About Voice Actor Jacob Hopkins
Actor Jacob Hopkins has had some incredible onscreen roles in his lifetime, but he's probably best known for formerly voicing the titular character in Cartoon Network's hit series The Amazing World of Gumball.
Currently, he's appearing in the How to Train Your Dragon spinoff Dragons: Rescue Riders as the conniving shrewd but sensitive Axel Finke, and we're loving the new role. We recently caught up with him to get acquainted with him much better.

1. Jacob's favorite family dish is very special to him.
"I'll always cherish my mom's mac and cheese, passed down by her grandmother (my great grandmother). It's basically the best thing in the world."

"I know how to play the drums to most of their early work. What can I say? Sugar, I'm going down swingin'."

"Just watch Logan and you'll see what I mean. Besides, what's cooler than an adamantium skeletal system, adamantium claws and a sick healing factor?"

4. If he had to describe himself in three words, he'd say he's extroverted, brave and persistent. He says he's also stubborn, though he's trying not to be.
5. His favorite movie is special to him for a number of reasons.
"Cinematically and theatrically, The Shining is groundbreaking to this day. Gotta love Jack Nicholson."

"Mr. Drew is the oldest and most powerful vampire on the elite vampire council. Too bad I fed on humans and posted it online… I kinda got staked by Christopher Meloni for it."

"I'm told that I subconsciously drum with my fingers on my lap when I listen to music (more like fully conscious because I love it), or I mumble to myself when I'm thinking really hard about something."

"I would die of excitement and absolute joy if I ever got the chance to voice Trunks from Dragon Ball Z. You're killing it, Eric Vale!"
