You Have to See Jeremy Scott’s New Music-Inspired Makeup Collection
Who needs streaming services? Not Jeremy Scott.
The American fashion designer is bringing mixtapes back into style with his new makeup collaboration with MAC.
The MAC x Jeremy Scott collection, launching Feb. 8, is inspired by the eclectic vibe of the '80s and '90s music scene. While the makeup colors are vibrant and exciting, the packaging may be the real star of these new products.
In a nod to the world of old school music, the first item in this collection is a boombox eyeshadow palette, featuring 29 shades that are designed to fit everyone's beauty needs.
Accompanying the boombox eyeshadow palette is the most OG musical device: the cassette tape. This cassette tape, however, brings a bit more than music to the table with nine gorgeous lip colors and a mirror to ensure all your touch-ups are picture perfect.
The last item in the collection is a cheek palette in the form of a CD. The cheeky mixtape features 3 colors that are perfect for a variety of skin types, and it just might inspire you to re-discover your long lost CD collection.
Beyond the fact that the colors are bold, versatile and gorgeous, we would totally invest in this set simply for the trendy vintage look it would give our vanity.
It's safe to say we're completely obsessed with this new collection, so be sure to add the release date to your calendar if you don't want to miss out on this exciting new set!
