Jessica Jones Gets Netflix Superhero Series!

Disney's Marvel has teamed up with Netflix to create four new superhero shows starting in 2016, and one of those shows will center around a girl power super heroine named Jessica Jones!

While the deal will also create shows revolving around Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, we're most excited about the upcoming Jessica Jones series, about a hero who received superhuman strength and the ability to fly after a chemical spill!

Jessica also goes by the aliases of Jewel, Knightress, and Power Woman. Not only does she have daring superpowers, but in her off-time she is also a super skilled detective and investigative journalist!

Although the show won't kick off for a couple of years, Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg has already signed on to be the head writer and executive producer of the show!

We totally can't wait to see more girl power on the small screen with Jessica Jones!
