Here’s Everything We Love About Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor Who Costume
When we found out the next Doctor on Doctor Who would finally be a woman, we were overjoyed—but we were even more excited to see Jodie Whittaker take on the role when we saw her costume.

Today, we got a first peek at the 13th Doctor's official costume, and we're loving its spacey retro vibe. It consists entirely of 100% wearable pieces that, when combined, look just out-there enough to sell the fact she's an alien traveling through time and space.
The outfit consists of a black top adorned with a colorful rainbow stripe, mustard suspenders and mid-calf culottes in a lovely shade of blue. The whole look is topped with a long, flowy coat, and it looks like she just might be wearing TARDIS socks under her brown leather boots.
Her ensemble is current while also acknowledging the Doctors of the past. For example, the stripes on her top are giving us major Fourth Doctor scarf vibes.
We'll get to see Jodie in action for the first time in this year's Doctor Who Christmas special, airing on Christmas Day. It'll be here before you know it.
