Birthday: April 12
Fun Facts:
1. Her most overused phrase isn't something that most Americans would know.
"It's probably something in Norwegian. 'Liksom' or 'på en måte,' which translate to 'like' and 'in a way.' Not sure if that's 100% right, but almost."
-Julie Bergan
2. Sports have always been a part of her life.
"I started dancing when I was 5 and playing soccer when I was 6. I also did table tennis for a couple years. When I got older, the interest of dancing grew, and I also started doing gymnastics and cheerleading when I was about 12. So I spent all my free time doing sports when I grew up. I'm still really into dancing, but I also started boxing a few years back, which I absolutely love!"

3. She never had any pets growing up, and has always considered dolphins to be her favorite animal.
"I think they're beautiful and they're also really smart. I had a really beautiful moment with dolphins when I went to Africa when I was 9. We went out on this pirate ship and I got a henna tattoo of a dolphin. Right in that moment when he was finishing up the tattoo, a bunch of dolphins started showing up in the water. I thought that was really special and I felt like my tattoo meant luck."

4. She's not the biggest Harry Potter fan, and hasn't watched the movies since she was young, so she doesn't know much about the different Hogwarts houses.
"But I would be in the house Hermione is in, because I always admired her a lot."
-Julie Bergan
5. She's the youngest of two sisters in her family.
"It has definitely had an impact on the person I am. I always looked up to my sister growing up, and she is the reason I started dancing! We are very close, and having my sister as a leading example definitely taught me how to share and show compassion for others. It was also really nice always having her to talk to, and it still is!"

6. Not a lot of people know this, but Julie loves Shania Twain's music.
"I'm not usually that into country music, but I've always loved her."

7. She's also really into cleaning her apartment.
"I know a lot of people hate cleaning, but to me, it's like yoga. I think it's really relaxing and I love to see the quick results. It's also the only time I actually manage to put my phone down and totally forget about everything else."
-Julie Bergan
8. She says she was surprised to be naturally good at sailing her first time trying it.
"Totally unexpected, as I've barely put my feet on a boat before, and I'd never even been on a sailboat before then."
-Julie Bergan
9. To Julie, being nice is everything.
"Just to be a good person to everyone you meet. Be understanding, a good listener and uplifting to others. Meet people with love no matter what. I think the most important thing in life is to be nice to others (and yourself)."
