Black River Entertainment

Black River Entertainment is an indie country record label based out of Nashville, Tennessee, combining recording studios armed with the latest and greatest tech, a publishing company, a management company and a label to provide everything their artists need. Kelsea and Black River Entertainment

Kelsea Ballerini has been signed with Black River Entertainment since 2013 and just renewed her deal to continue working with them.

"Black River has always handled my music with the utmost care since signing with them over a decade ago," Kelsea shared in a press release for the announcement. "They've never wavered in respecting my vision as an artist, offering me the freedom to be creative and push boundaries. We share our wins and successes like a family, and our renewed agreement reflects just that."

Indeed, Kelsea has seen a lot of success under the esteemed label. She launched her first three consecutive chart-topping singles with her debut album, The First Time,  making history in the country music genre, and over more than a decade with Black River, Kelsea has had seven No. 1 singles and 32 RIAA certifications. Those smash hits include "Peter Pan" and "Miss Me More," as well as unmissable collabs such as "half of my hometown" with Kenny Chesney, "hole in the bottle" with Shania Twain and "I Quit Drinking" featuring LANY. She's also won both ACM and CMA awards and was recently nominated for Best Country Album at the 66th Grammy Awards for Rolling Up the Welcome Mat.

"It is with great pleasure and true excitement that Black River continues to partner with Kelsea as well as Jason Owen," Black River Entertainment president and CEO Gordon Kerr added. "I find myself constantly blown away by Kelsea's artistic vision and musical excellence. And to know Jason as my friend and brother in music is nothing short of humbling and electrifying all at the same time. What a team we make, what history we write, what a story we tell!"

Black River Entertainment has been a partner beside Kelsea at every step of her journey thus far, and we're anticipating some very big things from Kelsea and the label in 2024 and beyond.
