Kiss the Sky! Orca Freedom Concert Today!
In honor of Earth Day, the Kiss the Sky! Orca Freedom Concert is being held tonight in Seattle!
The concert takes place tonight at Seattle's "Sky Church" at the Experience Music Project Museum. It will feature classic girl power rock groups Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, as well as 60s rock singer Country Joe McDonald, cellist Jami Sieber, Andrew Morse and upcoming singer-songwriter Arielle!
The Kiss the Sky! concert celebrates orcas, also known as killer whales. All proceeds will go to the Center for Whale Research, OrcaLab and the International Marine Mammal Project.
All three of these awesome organizations are dedicated to the study of wild orca whales, saving them in the wild and getting them out of captivity!
The concert also features an auction to win a custom-designed Fender guitar autographed by the concert's performers, the chance to be an orca researcher for a day and more!
