DIY the Trend

If you're more of DIY girl, we've got your back. You can easily jump on this K-beauty craze with a bit of patience and a few watermelon slices. Enjoy a step-by-step guide to make your own watermelon face treat!

Step 1: Slice watermelon into big triangles. Opt for a seedless variety if possible. Slice watermelon into discs and quarters, creating two-inch-thick triangular wedges.

Step 2: Chill the watermelon in the refrigerator for two hours and over it with a clear clingy plastic. Slice watermelon into discs and quarters, creating two-inch-thick triangular wedges.

Step 3: Using a peeler, start at the top of the triangle and bring your hand down, cutting paper thin stripes of watermelon. Lay them next to each other on the clingy plastic wrap to create a "sheet."

Step 4: Once the sheet is big enough to cover most of your face, raise the clingy paper wrap and let the side with the watermelon fall on your face, applying directly to skin.

Step 5: Let the cooling sensation and vitamins in the fruit do its thing for 15 minutes.
