We Got Our Hands on Krispy Kreme’s Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Donuts

In honor of National Pumpkin Day on Oct. 26, Krispy Kreme is offering their exclusive pumpkin spice original glazed donuts all day long.

Obviously, we had to head to our local shop to grab a couple (dozen) of the fall-inspired treats to try for ourselves.

The donuts are a twist on Krispy Kreme's classic glazed donut with the same sweet glaze and a pumpkin spice dough in place of the traditional flavor.

When we took our first bite, we found the donuts to be as delicious as they sounded. They're just as light and fluffy as the classic glazed Krispy Kremes, but with a little kick of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger in the dough.

The glaze also nicely complements the light spice, and while we don't exactly taste pumpkin flavor in the donut, it doesn't actually need it to calm our pumpkin spice cravings.

If you obsess over pumpkin spice, you'll definitely want to try one yourself—but you'll have to head into a Krispy Kreme shop before it closes tonight to get one.
