Lili Reinhart Shares the Pros and Cons of Being a Riverdale Star

Even dream jobs can have their drawbacks.

Riverdale star Lili Reinhart talked about being on the hit CW show during a recent Vogue interview, and she admitted that there are parts of her job that she despises. As grateful as she is to play Betty Cooper, she'd definitely change some things if she could.

Life in the public eye isn't all red carpet events and VIP treatment. Lili has to deal with criticism on a daily basis, often from people who are cruelly trolling her. She told Vogue that there are actually people who create special accounts just to send her hateful messages. Just no.

Understandably, Lili doesn't like "the mean comments, lack of privacy [and] people wanting to know everything." Yet ever since stepping into the spotlight, she's had to deal with that  on the reg. The Riverdale star also named "being in stressful situations, having to be a public speaker even when you don't feel like it, [and] having to be 'on' 24-7" as downsides to her job. Being a famous actress isn't easy.

Luckily, there are some major pros that make up for the cons of stardom. Lili loves her co-stars and feels lucky to work with them.

"I know that I will never have another opportunity like this again to work with the people I'm closest with," she told Vogue. "They make working in a job that is not very easy, manageable."

The Riverdale bond is strong, and it helps pull Lili through the tough times. But there's something we all can do to help her out: Remember the golden rule, and if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Celebs don't deserve harassment any more than the rest of us do.
