Here’s the Lost Character You Are, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

This week, rumors have been swirling about a potential revival of ABC's sci-fi drama Lost, and as fans who religiously watched the original show as it aired, they've definitely got us listening.

The series followed the survivors of a plane crash on a mysterious island that only grew stranger and more mystifying as the series unraveled, and more than 20 years after its initial release, the premise is still managing to hook new fans. Of course, while we tuned in each week to see what new secrets the island would reveal, what we really cared about were its incredible characters. Curious which one is most like you? Aries (March 21 – April 19): James 'Sawyer' Ford

One thing we loved about Lost was the incredible growth of its characters over its six seasons, and Sawyer was no exception. He began the story as an uncooperative con man who gets by on his looks and charm, only to develop into one of its most heroic figures. By the end, he was your signature Aries, with a powerful sense of leadership and loyalty that made others listen. There's no denying his heart of gold.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Jack Shephard

In a show with countless characters, Jack still managed to stand out as the lead of Lost, taking charge early on and stepping up to the plate to take care of the situation when the plane first crashed on the island. He's intelligent and capable, and his skills as a surgeon prove incredibly valuable in the face of disaster. Like Taurus, he's deeply caring and determined. However, he also has the bull's sense of stubbornness and skepticism.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes

Hurley may have appeared to be nothing but a silly comic relief character, at first, but as the lore deepens, his fate and ties to the island become more and more critical and compelling. He's your classic Gemini in the fact that he's a friend to all, with an open heart and a willingness to always do the right thing, even when it's hard. He's loyal, kind and funny, and his presence on the island is welcome when things get tough.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Jin-Soo Kwon

While we initially thought that Jin was an absolutely horrible husband to his wife, Sun, he has a highly satisfying redemption arc that made him into one of our favorite characters on Lost. Like Cancer, he's often misunderstood, and any mistreatment of others is merely an extension of his own difficult upbringing. Eventually, he grows and opens up his shell to become a devoted husband and beloved friend, with an empathetic and sensitive approach to life.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Kate Austen

Kate is one of our favorite complex heroes of Lost. When the plane crash lands on the island, she seems to step into the role of Leo—bold, friendly and ready to step into a position of leadership. Secretly, it's a manipulation tactic, as she's always made friends as a way to get what she wants and survive, but it doesn't stop her from taking charge and being heroic when it matters. So when if she's a wanted fugitive with a criminal background?

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sep. 22): John Locke

From the get-go, John Locke was one of the most interesting and mysterious characters in Lost. Before the accident, he was unable to walk, and after seemingly becoming healed by the island, Locke comes to have a strong belief in the island and its powers. Like Virgo, the perpetual student, he studies the island, seeking to unlock its secrets and the the connection it seems to have to his destiny. Ultimately, it becomes an obsession (in typical Virgo fashion).

Libra (Sep. 23 – Oct. 22): Desmond Hume

Despite not joining the cast until the second season of Lost, Desmond had a major impact and quickly become a fan favorite. For years, he lived inside a mysterious hatch, tasked with pushing a button every 108 minutes to prevent untold disaster, and he did the job diligently. As Libra is represented by scales, highlighting the importance of balance, Desmond really fits the sign. He remains ever loyal and resilient, in spite of the bizarre situation and travel through time and space, and just wants to do what's right.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Benjamin Linus

Benjamin Linus is another later introduction to Lost who's no less important than the characters we meet right off the bat—especially as he's one of the show's most interesting villains. Of course, Ben doesn't do what he does out of evil, but in order to protect the island at all costs. Like most Scorpios, he's shrouded in mystery and deeply misunderstood, with a powerful sense of loyalty hiding beneath the surface.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Juliet Burke

Of all of the characters on this list, Juliet was introduced the latest, but even so, she's one of the most important figures in the latter half of the series. She's a unique character, recruited to the island and sent as a mole among the plane crash's survivors before deciding to make her own decisions and stick with them. Like a Sagittarius, she's brave, intuitive and resourceful, unafraid to make tough choices. While she may not be an adventurer in the traditional sense, she's willing to go out on a limb and jump into the unknown for the right reasons.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): Sayid Jarrah

Sayid Jarrah has a dark and harrowing past, but despite his quiet and something threatening demeanor, his experiences made him quite thoughtful and wise. Over the course of the series, his growth comes in moving beyond his past, and he has many Capricorn traits stemming from his work ethic and brilliance. He's willing to make sacrifices when they're needed and has a cool, calm head, making important decisions, no matter how difficult.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Sun-Hwa Kwon

Sun begins Lost as a quite timid and submissive character, but thrown into the intense situation on the island, she quickly rises to the occasion and finds her own voice. She gains her own independence and begins to march to the beat of her own drum, making the choices that are right for her, without bending to the whims of her husband, Jin. We can't think of anything more aligned with Aquarius. In shedding the burden of those old expectations, she becomes her most authentic self—and her relationship with her husband becomes even stronger in the process.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20): Charlie Pace

Charlie's claim to fame is that he's the guitarist of Drive Shaft, an English one-hit-wonder rock band, but that doesn't do him any good once he's on the island. Instead, he must rely on his kindness to get by. He's an open, vulnerable person, as well as a dreamer, working to overcome his own personal struggles. His love and care for people make him a typical Pisces. He wants so dearly to become better, and he does, driven by the others on the island and his devotion to them.
