In the labyrinthine world of K-Pop, where trends emerge and fade, one group continues to captivate with its innovation and fan-driven approach. In this exclusive interview, we delve into the vibrant world of LOVELution, exploring their latest mini-album LOVELution <ↀ> and the empowering title track, "Girls' Capitalism," and the unique messages hidden within. Join us as we uncover the essence of LOVELution and the impact they're set to make on the global stage.

Sweety High: As a subunit, you've chosen the name LOVElution. What message do you hope to convey through this unique name, and how does it differ from the overall tripleS group concept?

SoHyun: LOVElution is a unit that aims to boost the listeners' mood and send positive vibes through music and performances. The concept also connects to the previous releases but is a step more elevated in terms of uniqueness.

SH: The title track "Girls' Capitalism" from your latest EP, LOVElution <ↀ>, has a very attention-grabbing name. Can you tell us more about the meaning of the song title and more about the track?

SeoYeon: The title track "Girls' Capitalism" sings about the thoughts of girls who are living in a capitalist society. While appearance is important, money is required above anything else. The song conveys the thoughts that one can create their own future through self-reliance. The producers behind "Generation" also produced this track, which makes this track extra addictive.

SH: The MV for "Girls' Capitalism" is quite dynamic. Do you have any funny or memorable moments from recording the MV?

DaHyun: Near the end of the music video, you can watch a scene where we dance under the rain. A sprinkler truck came on set to create the rain, and it was so refreshing to be under that rain at dawn in summer! I felt closer to the members after the shoot and it was a memorable scene as it was the last shoot for the first day of filming.

SH: The MV for "Girls' Capitalism" also mentions several rules for how to live life. Which of the rules mentioned in the MV do you relate to the most?

Nien: I relate to the fourth rule—"Dance When You Feel Ugly"—since there are times I might feel discouraged when I'm surrounded by so many perfect idols. I relieve that stress by dancing and not paying attention to other people looking at me.

SH: LOVElution <ↀ> features a variety of tracks, each with its own style and emotion. Could you share which song from the EP holds a special place in your heart, and why?

SoHyun: I wrote the lyrics, composed and even directed the song "Black Soul Dress." This song is about figuring out about myself. The track is even more special as I had fellow member YuBin in mind while producing this track.

SH: Fans around the world are thrilled about your upcoming tour. What can they expect from your live performances, and do you have any memorable moments you're looking forward to sharing with your fans during the tour?

HyeRin: The upcoming tour will, of course, include performances with tracks from our most recent release and tripleS' hit songs and fan favorites. We will also be holding our first ever meet and greet overseas, which gives us the opportunity to see the fans closer. I think we're more excited about this event than the fans.

SH: What do you enjoy most about performing?

Xinyu: I love seeing our WAV [fans] watch us perform and cheer on for us!
