McDonald’s Debuts ‘Craveable’ Sweet N’ Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders

The McDonald's menu is always changing, and the latest newcomer is downright "craveable." The fast food chain announced Wednesday that it is adding Sweet N' Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders to its menu, and they'll be available next week.

The chicken offering is set for a limited run, so if you want to try them, sooner is better than later.

The soon-to-arrive item adds a sweet and spicy twist to a menu staple. What starts out as McDonald's Buttermilk Crispy Tenders becomes Sweet N' Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders when the chicken is hand tossed and glazed in the company's sauce. The glaze is made from brown sugar, chili pepper, garlic powder, paprika and other secret ingredients.

McDonald's teased "a new craveable sweet and spicy taste" in its press release announcing its latest offering and indicated that having more chicken options helps create "a better McDonald's." We'll have to find out for ourselves when the tenders officially go on sale.
