Sweety High: Can you tell us about your highly anticipated mini-album, SOME, and what you hope your fans will get from this release?

Moon Jong Up: This album, SOME, contains songs of many different genres. I wanted to show diverse aspects of myself and tried to tell that I had plenty more to show. Since my fans had to wait for such a long time, I wanted them to know more about me with this album.

SH: Which track on this album do you think best represents your personality?

MJ: The sub-title track, "Common," is a type of song that I do not necessarily release often. However, its vibe, energy and funky rhythm depict what I wanted to show very well.

SH: You're an amazing dancer and singer. Which do you prefer more?

MJ: I am more of a singer. Dance is something that serves as a decoration for my songs, so if I think of my priorities, I am a singer.

SH: You recently participated in the competition show Peak Time. While participating in the competition, how did you grow as an artist and was there anything you learned about yourself during the process?

MJ: First of all, I set the standards high for myself when it comes to my skills, considering that Peak Time was a survival program and other artists were judging my performance. I learned how to be more delicate and detailed. Also, I saw how determined other participants were, and I learned how important it is to be humble every time. In the end, I have improved and grown with that show.

MJ: I definitely hope so. I hope that I'll be able to come back to the stage as a member of B.A.P someday.
