There's nothing quite like hitting the mall with your friends on a Friday night.

Between movie theaters, clothing stories and food courts—heck, some malls even have rides and arcades—there's plenty of fun to be had at your local shopping grounds.

But which malls make for the most Instagrammable photo opps in the USA? We've sleuthed out shopping destinations far and wide that are great for your Insta feed, but maybe not so good for your wallet. Below, the most Insta-worthy malls in America.

South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California

There's a reason why classic TV shows like The O.C., The Laguna Beach, and The Real Housewives of Orange County have gained a massive following. There's something extra luxe in the water down in Orange County, California, and Costa Mesa's Insta-worthy mall has a strong hold on the shopping in Southern California.

The property boasts seven major department stores and every high-end designer shop your heart could ever desire. Even if you're just browsing, make sure to snap a pretty pic in front of some of the one-of-a-kind stores, and definitely check out the restaurants for anything but your typical mall food. If you're feeling extra fancy, cross the bridge to the Segerstrom Hall to catch a Broadway show or the ballet.

Aventura Mall in Miami, Florida

Welcome to Miami! The Aventura Mall is a top destination in the Sunshine State, mainly for its mix of designer stores and popular mid-tier brands like Abercrombie and Fitch and Banana Republic. Miami is an art hub, so expect to see rotating art installations throughout Aventura Mall, and be prepared to feast your eyes on some major car candy as the mall offers luxury car rentals for Bentley, Aston Martin and Ferrari. Also, don't miss the ginormous adult-size slide!

Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii

Aloha! The Ala Moana Center is the largest outdoor shopping destination in the entire world, and it makes sense because it calls the tropical paradise of Hawaii it's home. The mall has all of the Hawaii vibes too—wood, beautiful outdoor lighting, lush green plants and tiki torches.

Mall of America, Minnesota

The Mall of America in Minneapolis is famously the largest mall in the USA. The mall itself is 5.6 million square feet big, and over 40 million people visit it every single year. So how does this mall stack up on the 'gram? In addition to having every store you can possibly think of, plus 50 restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining, it boasts a mini golf course, an aquarium and Nickelodeon Universe—our nation's largest indoor amusement park, which even has a ferris wheel. The interiors of the Mall of America are chic and white, making a perfect backdrop for monochromatic feeds, too.

Fashion Show in Las Vegas, Nevada

Located in Paradise, Nevada, the Fashion Show mall is quite literally that. Nestled smack dab in the middle of the Vegas strip, Fashion Show is a destination for those winning big at lady luck. While the mall itself has the same stores you'll find at the malls mentioned above, what sets it apart is the disc-shaped saucer and grand fountain out in front. Vegas looks best by night, so bring your flash and capture the magic.

Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida

If you're looking for a mall to add jolts of color to your feed, head down to South Florida to Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise. By no means the biggest or most luxurious mall in the states, what sets this mall apart are all of the amazing backdrops just begging for an #OOTD photo. Oh, and did we mention that there's an actual Barbie Dreamhouse? Yeah, it's amazing.
