Aries (March 20 – April 19): Your Impatience

Passionate and enthusiastic, you're basically all or nothing when it comes to romance, Aries. You have a tendency to dive headfirst into your relationships and you're totally unafraid of showing your feelings and making the first move. While your energy is completely intoxicating, your impulsiveness has a downside—you're incredibly impatient. A slight misstep from your partner often causes you to explode in rage, which leads to a relationship filled with highs and lows. Your partners are often walking on eggshells around your bad temper, and your impatience causes you to neglect their needs in favor of meeting your own. Try to curb your irritability, Aries. People are going to make mistakes, and lashing out in anger won't solve any problems.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Your Detachment

You're responsible and practical, Taurus, especially when it comes to romantic relationships. Trust is very important to you and you don't want to reveal your true self to just anyone, so it takes you a long time to open up to someone. While your aloofness is simply part of your attempts to protect yourself, it's also a huge hindrance to your romantic relationships. Your fears about opening up cause you to detach from your partner, often putting your doubts and worries above your positive feelings about the relationship. While keeping your emotions disconnected from the situation is a good way to avoid getting hurt, it also keeps you from building a genuine and deep connection with someone. It's okay to be cautious, Taurus, but try to open yourself up a little sooner or you might be pushing away partners that could be perfect for you.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Your Instability 

Oh, moody little Gemini—there's just no tying you down. You're social, fun-loving and talkative, but you're not the most reliable romantic partner. You're always shifting between the two different sides of your personality, and your emotions tend to change just as easily. You fall in love quickly, but you fall out of love just as fast, so your partners never feel like they're able to rely on you. Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Your Sensitivity 

No one wishes to change how deeply emotional you are, Cancer. Ah, our fiery Sun sign. Leo, you're warmhearted and generous, but you genuinely believe the world revolves around you, which can make you quite the difficult partner. You have an almost reckless self-confidence that lends itself to a strong will, and you're not afraid to impose your expectations on your romantic partners. You're always ready to take the reins, often organizing things that are not your place to interfere in. While your partners are automatically drawn to your magnetic charm, your inflexibility can become a huge impediment to a healthy relationship if you don't learn to work with your partners instead of bulldozing their opinions.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22): Your Criticism 

You're loyal, analytical and intellectually dominant, Virgo. While this makes you totally willing to do everything for your partner, it also makes you very critical of the person you decide to be with. All of life is a balancing act for you, Libra, which generally makes you very fair-minded and peaceful. However, it also means that you're practically incapable of making a decision, which can get very frustrating for your romantic partners. Instead of being an equal voice for you partner to bounce ideas off of, you often want them to make all the choices for you, only to get upset when things don't turn out exactly how you want. Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Your Skepticism

You're quite a difficult sign to understand, Scorpio. You're all about your emotions, making you a very passionate and loving person, but you don't know how to effectively express your feelings, which leads to a lot of distrust and jealousy. As much as your partner might love you, they find it very difficult to get on board with your natural skepticism. You're always waiting for something bad to happen, sometimes even going so far as to falsely accuse your partner of being unfaithful to you. Try to rein in the jealousy, Scorpio—it makes it difficult for your partner to love you when they feel like they constantly have to explain and defend themselves.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Your Lack of Diplomacy

Oh, Sagittarius—you're free-spirited and adventurous, which makes you an incredibly independent individual. You believe that all people are genuinely good, which means that you don't always have the best understanding of social situations. You're big on speaking your mind, often saying hurtful or tactless things without even realizing that you've offended anyone. You're progressive and intellectual, Aquarius, always on the hunt for an intellectual challenge. You don't feel fulfilled unless you're using your mind, which is a great quality in general, but can become problematic in your relationships. If there isn't enough actual content to occupy your brain, you'll start making things up, leading to a lot of overthinking in your romances. Even when things are going perfectly, you have a tendency to think too far into the future and imagine problems that haven't yet occurred. Your overthinking takes you out of the present of your relationship and makes it impossible for your partners to prove what a great match you are.
