1. Jena Rose Releases Long-Awaited New Music Video and Song, 'Being Good Is Boring'
Jena Rose's "Being Good Is Boring" just dropped today and it already has over 18 million views on TikTok. And if you're one of the few who hasn't yet heard it, run and give the music video a watch. Trust us when we say you'll be enamored from the beginning! The tune is so catchy and we can pretty much guarantee you'll be singing it all summer long. "'Being Good is Boring' is for anyone wanting to have a little fun and not feeling guilty about it," Jena said in a press release. "I want others to take, connect and enjoy my art and have a little fun while listening to it." We don't know about you, but we can't wait until her EP Baby Maybe drops later this year!
2. Noah Thompson Drops His Own Version of Rihanna's 'Stay'
The recent winner of American Idol, Noah Thompson, gained major popularity on the show after singing Rihanna's "Stay," so it comes as no surprise that he decided to officially release it! The country singer has an R&B twang we can't get enough of, and we love what he adds to the iconic song. "There is not a particular lyric that speaks to me, but it's the overall feel of the song I love," Noah shared with Sweety High. "I think it's cool that sometimes it doesn't matter what is actually being said in the song but rather how the song moves you and takes you to another place. I love songs that tell stories, and this song tells a story of longing and heartache."

3. Boys World Shares Music Video for 'SO WHAT'
Boys World is a girl group that we think is about to take the world by storm, and if their music video for "SO WHAT" is any indication as to what's to come, we're in for quite the surprise. The group's new music video makes for the perfect breakup anthem and we truly can't stop listening to it on repeat. "'SO WHAT' is about someone wanting you back, but it's too late," Boys World shared with Sweety High. "It's all about standing up for yourself and knowing your self-worth, especially after a breakup. We want everyone to feel confident and empowered while they listen to this song! This new era of music for us is about being unapologetically ourselves, and 'SO WHAT' sets the tone."
4. payton's Debut EP insomnia Is Bold and Honest
Alt-pop singer-songwriter payton just debuted his EP insomnia, and we are in love. It's even better than what we were expecting to hear! From soulful, R&B-tinged tracks to raw emotions coming through the lyrics, each song is as good as the next. "To me, creating this EP as a whole project meant working through and overcoming obstacles in life emotionally and opening up a new wave of creativity," payton shared with Sweety High. "That is the feeling across all of these songs, and I hope that these songs can help others the way they have helped me personally, emotionally and creatively with writing music, too."

5. Hayd Drops Heartbreaking New Single, 'Don't Go, Don't Leave'
If you're looking to get your heartstrings pulled, you need to give Hayd's new single, "Don't Go, Don't Leave," a listen. This song is inspired by one of his friends who passed away from cancer, and since we live in a world where that happens all too often, a lot of people will be able to relate to the song and its lyrics. "When you lose someone you love, it's hard not to be overcome by grief and sadness," Hayd shared in a press release. "And while it's good to mourn, at some point there needs to be a time of acceptance so that you're able to move on with life. This song is meant to comfort those who find themselves in that period of grief and regret. I hope they heal and realize they're not alone."
6. Marshmello and Mae Muller Share Music Video for 'American Psycho' Featuring Trippie Redd
Producer and D.J. Marshmello has given us hit after hit, and his recent song, "American Psycho," is no different. Made in collaboration with Mae Muller and Trippie Redd, this track makes for the perfect emo-esque summer jam. The lyrics discuss toxic relationships and all of the ups and downs that come with them. Trippie Redd sings, "You used to call me on the phone. Nowadays you only calling me psycho." Give this song a listen—you won't regret it!
7. Jackson Wang Releases New Single, 'Cruel'
Chinese solo artist Jackson Wang has been on our radars for quite some time, and with his sophomore album, MAGIC MAN, coming Sep. 9, we have lots to look forward to. Lucky for us, he released a single off of the upcoming album, and it's quite the banger. "Cruel" is haunting and beautiful all at once, as made clear in the accompanying music video. "'Cruel' is a very special record for me. It really set the precedence for where the narrative of the album needed to go and sound," Jackson shared in a press release. "We were working on many records before this one, but we were struggling to find a clear direction. Cruel is like a manifestation of the environments and hurdles we had to overcome at the time. Every time we felt we were getting close, something slips past us and it all felt so far away. Once 'Cruel' came into our hands, it all made sense for us, it was like a beautiful mental breakdown."
8. The Attire Share Spicy New Breakup Track 'Sriracha,' Featuring Woosung
Pop group The Attire consists of vocalist and pianist Greg Shilling and drummer and guitarist Stephen Santa Teresa, and they deserve all of the recognition. With the release of their new breakup track, "Sriracha," featuring Woosung, we think they're going to gain even more popularity! When you hear the lyrics "When you broke my heart I made it fashion," trust us when we say you won't be able to help but sing along. "We hope that listeners get inspired by the lyrics to help them heal from the relationships that hurt them," Greg of The Attire shared with Sweety High. "Although the words we wrote are woven from heartbreak and sadness, we made the track uptempo and super fun so the listener can feel uplifted, inspired and cool as hell, all while dancing the pain away. We hope everyone that listens feels safer, stronger and sexier moving on from their heartbreak. Oh, and of course, we hope it makes them feel 'extra spicy,' too."

9. Maggie Rogers Unveils New Album, Surrender
Months after her performance at Coachella, we're still daydreaming about Maggie Rogers on the big stage. And with her new album, Surrender, finally here, we couldn't be happier. The 12-track record is full of dreamy hits and dancey tunes, and we just know it's going to be on repeat for the rest of the summer. "Surrender is out," Maggie shared in an Instagram post. "i'm so proud of this record and i hope you love her as much as i do. more soon — processing for now. this album belongs to you now."
10. Beyoncé Drops 7th Studio Album, Renaissance
This is not a drill, we repeat, this is not a drill! Queen B, Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé, just dropped her seventh studio album. Renaissance is complete with 16 incredible songs that we know fans around the world are going to fall in love with. We've already given the full album a listen and are calling it now—some of them are going to be big on TikTok! We're absolutely loving "Alien Superstar," especially, and hope a music video is in our near future.
