We don't know how it's possible, but we've somehow made it to November.
This year has truly flown by, and that's thanks in large part to the amazing new music that has been released time and time again by our favorite artists. And this week was no different! Keep scrolling to get a look at 10 big things that happened in music the week of Nov. 4, 2022.
1. Susie Suh Rediscovers Herself With 'Over You (Cinematic Version)'
Soulful and dreamy in sound, Susie Suh's song "Over You (Cinematic Version)" is a must-listen. Whether you're into vibey beats or just want to hear something unique for a change, trust us when we say you'll fall in love with Susie and her unmatched vocals. "The song 'Over You' is a song about boundaries and not losing yourself in other people's problems," Susie shared with Sweety High. "It's about the realization that you can't help other people at the expense of yourself. It was a life lesson for me that I had to learn, to always put myself first, no matter how much we love or care about someone and want to help them. I hope whoever's listening finds support in the song and it helps them remember to have good boundaries so that they don't lose themselves in the process of helping someone else."

2. Sigrid Shares New Song 'Everybody Says They're Fine'
Norweigan pop singer Sigrid just shared her new song "Everybody Says They're Fine," and we think it's one of the most relatable tracks of the year. With a smooth beat and catchy lyrics, it's a song we can't wait to listen to when the weather is cold and we're feeling our feels. "'Everybody Says They're Fine' is a song Askjell and I wrote for the album almost two years ago (!), but wanted to save it for a special moment, so here we are," Sigrid shared in a press release. "It's a song about pressure and just not feeling at your best. I usually try to come to some sort of a conclusion in my choruses, because I find so much joy and release in singing my songs live and feel like there's a solution or a good takeaway to things, but for this one we decided to just go with that feeling and just say it as it is."
3. Suki Waterhouse Releases Milk Teeth EP
Suki Waterhouse just released her long-awaited Milk Teeth EP, and we couldn't be more proud. The EP consists of five tracks from the beginning of her career and the previously unreleased "Neon Signs" song. We've loved the direction she's taken in her career over the course of the last year and plan on listening to the EP until her next album drops. In an Instagram post, Suki shared, "milk teeth is out!!!! <33 🦷 i can't begin to tell you what it means to me that these first songs I ever made are now being released together and on an ep along with neon signs 😭 every part of the last seven years has been a process that has only been possible with the expertise, prescenes and love of those around me."
4. Jackson Wooten Drops EP From a Warm Valley
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jackson Wooten has the voice of a freaking angel, and his euphoric sound is made even more prevalent in his new EP From a Warm Valley. The four-track EP consists of some truly incredible songs we haven't stopped playing, but if we had to choose a favorite, it would be "Morning." "'Morning' is a love song written for my favorite part of my day—when everything is peaceful and slow," Jackson told Sweety High in an interview. "I was working part-time as a waiter at a brunch restaurant, so I was waking up super early every day. I grew a sweet appreciation for the stillness of mornings. I began to find routines that would give me peace and contentment—making coffee, snuggling my cat Leo, writing in a journal. It became the most important part of every day—something I looked forward to."

He wrote the EP for the upcoming film Creation Theory, and we plan on watching it solely to hear Goth Babe. In an Instagram post, Goth Babe shared, "My EP 'Iceland' comes out this Friday!!🏔🌞 it's juicy, it's different, it's the same, it's new, and it was written for a film I made with @arcteryx – I hope y'all like it as much as I do."

Tiësto and Tate McRae's "10:35" is the collab we didn't know we were missing in our lives, and after listening to the song on repeat, we already want to hear more from the duo. They partnered with a new luxury resort opening in Dubai, and the location looks futuristic and incredibly beautiful. The song itself features Tate's beautiful vocals and boasts an electric, enigmatic sound. "I'm very excited to be partnering with this iconic new property," Tiësto said in a press release. "Tate and I wanted to create a song that captured the energy of an experience at Atlantis The Royal, and I'm proud to say the feeling of 10:35 and this property are both infectious! So excited for the world to finally hear it."

SG Lewis just released the new song "Lifetime," along with a music video, and if it's any clue as to what we can expect with his second studio album AudioLust & HigherLove, out Jan. 27, we're in for quite the treat. "Lifetime" is a disco-esque song that we can't help but dance to, and we think listeners will feel the exact same way. "I think that 'Lifetime' could be my favorite record I've ever made," he shared in a press release. "I wrote it with my friends Ed Drewett, Reuben James and J Moon late one night at Decoy Studios, and the song is largely about Ed and his wife. It's a song that channels inspiration from a lot of the music I grew up listening to and holds a very special place in my heart."
8. Olivia O'Brien Drops New Single 'Never Be The One'
"Never Be The One" comes before Olivia O'Brien's Nov. 18 micromixtape, A Means To An End, and it's a total banger. The 22-year-old never fails to put a smile on our faces with her songs, whether they're heartbreaking or uplifting. "Never Be The One" is a song that pretty much everyone can relate to, and we just love how vulnerable she gets. "'Never Be The One' is a song about a 'situationship' where you've realized that the person you're with will never be anything more to you," Olivia shares in a press release. "The idea that knowing you'll never actually date someone or be with them in a real way doesn't have to be sad… sometimes it's nice to know that you're just having fun in the moment and there's no pressure to be anything else."
