1. Maude Latour Drops Upbeat Single 'Cyclone'

Indie-pop singer-songwriter Maude Latour just dropped the upbeat new single "Cyclone," and we're in love. "Cyclone" comes before the release of Maude's upcoming EP, out Sep. 30, and if this single is any indication as to what we can expect from the rest of the album, we're in for quite the treat. "Cyclone" is upbeat and vulnerable all at the same time, and we can't get enough. "This song is truly a vulnerable moment for me, where I am asking for forgiveness and realizing that I can't live without someone," Maude told Sweety High. "This song is dedicated to my best friend, and it's about my own growth through our journey together, fighting, realizing where I went wrong and changing as a person. This song is different than my other works because it is truly about how much I need someone."

2. Alex Warren Debuts New Single 'Headlights'

With 15.5 million followers (and counting) on TikTok, it's clear that Alex Warren is known and loved, so it comes as no surprise that his new single, "Headlights," has already won fans over. His vulnerability really shines through in the lyrics, where he discusses his own ongoing battle with anxiety and depression. The song will hit you in the gut (in a good way) and is a must-listen. "I have a lot of anxiety and overthink every aspect of my life," Alex shared in a press release. "Writing down exactly how I feel has been the most powerful therapy I've ever experienced and I hope once people hear this record, they're able to relate to it."

3. Dermot Kennedy Releases Melancholic New Single and Music Video 'Kiss Me'

Dermot Kennedy just came out with the new single "Kiss Me," along with a music video, and it's everything we could have wanted and more. Coming before the release of his upcoming album Sonder, out Nov. 4, "Kiss Me" features an upbeat vibe, touching lyrics and a groove-worthy beat. In a press release, Dermot shared, "The message behind both the video and song of 'Kiss Me' is that love is worth it … Even when things are falling apart and life feels short and there's chaos all around us, there's still always something to hold on to."

4. Ian Flanigan Comes Out With Debut Album STRONG

Ian Flanigan won our hearts over when he competed on season 19 of The Voice, and he's been on repeat for us ever since. With his debut album STRONG finally being released, we have even more of a reason to stream his music non-stop. The country star's new album is packed full of songs that are bound to become classics, and we just love "Last Name On It." "For me, strength has always come from the support of the folks I hold dear," Ian shared in a press release. "I made this record to feel like stepping out of the loud and busy world after a hard day's work, taking off your boots, and having a seat with my loving family in the living room. My family would love for you to be our guest to enjoy this ride with us."

5. Nicki Nicole Shares New Single and Music Video 'Nobody Like Yo'

After watching Nicki Nicole's new music video for "Nobody Like Yo," we've officially become the artist's biggest fans. We didn't know it was possible to love her even more, but seeing her in the literal boxing ring instantly put a smile on our faces. The song mixes trap and salsa sounds, and the end result is something you won't be able to not dance to. "'Nobody Like Yo' is a song that I have wanted everyone to hear for a long time," Nicki shared in a press release. "It was saved for just the right moment, which is now. It talks about an internal battle between two people that grapple every day due to their egos and pretentiousness."

6. Duncan Laurence Shares Directorial Debut for 'Electric Life'

Duncan Laurence's '70s-inspired music video for "Electric Life" shows off his directorial debut in the most beautiful way. Shot in sepia tones, this stunning video is the perfect backdrop to the already incredible song. It's comforting, healing and bound to make you feel something. "It has been such a dream come true and an amazing experience to direct my own video," Duncan said in a press release. "The meaning of 'Electric Life' is very personal. It's about the people who unfortunately aren't here on earth anymore but are still a very much a big part of my life. The hands in the video symbolize these people. I wanted to find a symbolic, hopeful and positive way of performing this song and I think it turned out beautifully. I'm super happy and really proud—this is the first video I've ever directed completely myself. You will definitely see me doing this more in the future."

7. Dillon Francis Reminagines Ciara's 'Goodies'

Dillon Francis just came out with "Goodies," based on the 2004 hit song of the same name by Ciara, and it just might be even better than the original. This track comes before the release of This Mixtape Is Fire TOO, and it's just further proof that the producer and DJ is one of the best at what he does. Trust us when we say you won't regret listening to this song—you'll be up and out of your chair in no time, dancing to the beat.

8. Doechii and SZA Team Up for 'Persuasive'

Doechii and SZA make for the most epic duo in "Persuasive," and we already want to see more from the pair. Plus, this R&B record features a new music video you just have to see to believe. We can see both Doechii and SZA coming alive and giving off all of the good vibes. "I created 'Persuasive' to uplift people and bring communities together, so having SZA jump on the song was a perfect fit because I've always connected with others over her music," Doechii shared in a press release. "Knowing that SZA is with TDE was what originally got me most excited about being on this label, so now that we have a song together it's a full-circle moment. She really ATE! This collaboration is everything I always imagined it to be."
